A peaceful and restful well laid out small park alongside the waterfront. A nice place to sit and watch the world go by. The area is also of some historic interest regarding the founding of the Confederation.

This is a lovely, small park in the heart of Charlottetown. There are numerous picnic tables and benches available, which make it easy to spend time relaxing in the park. Several floating food vendors are available for al fresco dining.
Nice walking path on a wide board walk. Bike lane is near by so there is no worry about zooming bikes taking up space. beautiful views of Charlottetown harbour, and the many boats sailing by. Not far to restaurants and the downtown.

We had all heard about this bridge, and it was beautiful to see! We did not drive across it; however, I can see why the locals hated to give up their ferries, and also why it’s nice to have the modern connection they now have.
