Arrived first thing in the morning.. everyone was social distancing and wearing masks but the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Great selection of local products, fruit and vegies.

Compact Market
Aug 2019
Went on a summer Saturday, but still found parking without too much trouble. We walked around and picked up some produce and baked goods and really good coffee. Enjoyed a snack at a table on site. Some souvenir crafts and pottery of high quality on site. Worth 1-2 hours to see all and talk to merchants.

Small Farmer's Market
Aug 2019 • Family
Quite a bit of variety for a small farmer's market including local produce, preserves, food stalls including several ethnic food ones. Lots if parking available.

Local Treasures
Jul 2019 • Couples
We stopped here on our way off the island. For someone on a trip, you may find that it is a lot of fresh produce and maybe not what you’re looking for to take home as a souvenir, but the booths that are there that are selling wares are very unique and the prices are good! There are also a lot of good vendors that you can grab a quick bite to eat while you’re there as well. Certainly check it out if you’re in town.

YUM!
Jul 2019 • Family
Food vendors galore so great place to ‘vendor hop’ for lunch. Then take your yummies out to a picnic table and eat while listening to local artists on the guitar. Saturdays are very crowded but that’s part of the scene. Tried butter tarts for first time (plain & pecan) upon recommendation from a PEI native and they’re amazing! Bacon wrapped scallops good and one stand offers a large variety of sausages either to take home cold to cook later or grilled there to enjoy. Craft vendors are interesting to look at and shop from. Expected more fresh produce since it’s a farmer’s market but perhaps veggies such as tomato’s aren’t yet in season on PEI. We purposely didn’t purchase certain produce at the grocery store thinking we’d find better and fresher and more locally grown here, but that wasn’t the case. Open on Wednesday’s and Saturday’s til 2:00. Still a fun day out, and got lunch into the bargain!

My visit to Charlottetown Farmers Market
Sep 2018
Arrive at the market late in the morning. There was lots of parking inspite being a week day. There are lots of things to buy. Produce and ready to eat foods were being sold. If you want fresh fruits and vegtable this is the place to be. Meat are also sold here and sauce of all kind are available.

Best Little Farmers Market in PEI
Apr 2019 • Family
We have a wonderful farmers market right here in Charlottetown. It is not a large one by any means but they make up for it in quality. Some of the larger centers have these massive multi acre buildings but there is a lot of redundancy in products and lower quality goods. You would be hard pressed to find a bad booth here. Quality meats, meals, treats, books, crafts, drinks and so much more. I have never left this market without an armload of goods. "Size does not always matter"

Best Saturday Breakfast
Mar 2019 • Friends
Really love meeting up with friends here every Saturday morning for great coffee and a bite. Even better in the summer when the picnic tables are out and about in the sunshine.
