Cool lighthouse

This lighthouse is cool and the site is beautiful. Unfortunately, it is closed - what a shame! Worth visiting if you are also going to the Fort Amherst National Historic site.

We went to and from PEI from the bridge. I would not find the road to take a closer up picture of the lighthouse...........

We love finding unexpected places, and this is one of them! It was interesting to peer in the windows to see the rooms in the house and would be lovely to see it restored and opened for the public! Make sure to explore Fort Amherst (free admission) while in the area for a view of two more lighthouses and lots... More

I used to bike here from our cottage in Rocky Point. You get beautiful views of all the sailboats and pleasure boats in the harbour and around the point! Spectacular!

Walking along the boardwalk you suddenly turn a corner and see this lighthouse tucked away farther down the path. It is a nice view. Up close it still looks like it is functional but it would be nice if they buried the wire trailing across to it from the house. All in all a nice quiet area though and worth... More

This working lighthouse is in need of some renovation but it is still a nice representation. It is in a beautiful location with a great view of the bay. Also check out the Fort Amherst park nearby.

Was very interesting to see how the sailors navigated the waters back in the day. It is a wonderful thing to see which is part of our history of Canada.

I never would have believed that there was a lighthouse at the end of the road. It was a very quiet place to relax.

Took a few pics there. I was just driven Route 19 and found this nice location. It is worth a drive and making some nice photos. Also you can go to the old lighthouse at the end of the road.
