Great service and wait staff. Sarah was excellent. The meal was very well done. 3 course meal $29.99. Selection of 4 different items for each course. The Turkey ravioli was so tastey and the steak and veggies so perfect. Dessert was bread pudding with fruit in it and a caramel sauce. That and the carrot cake we can vouch for as being top notch. The halibut was also excellent. Two appetizers two steak dinners and two large desserts a bottle of great wine and then an Irish coffee and a cocktail was like $125 including the tip. Great seat to watch the races as well. Make sure you get reservations as seating is reduced due to covid.

The Red Shore Casino was a little hard to find for the first time... it really could use some better street level signage... but once I found it, I enjoyed the place. It is a but small as casinos go but it has a good selection of slot machines. The place is clean and bright and I would definitely go back when the opportunity presents itself.

Run of the mill Casino, nolthing special. Vacationing from Ontario, where Casino's know the value of satisfied patrons - non-alcoholic drinks are FREE. PEI, on the other hand has extremely tight machines (didn't see anyone winning) and they charg an outrageous amount for pop or coffee. Shame on you.

Smiling staff and good welcome. Glazed room, nice place, private table with tv, well installed and comfortable. Very small buffet, not much choice, very salty butter doesn't taste of garlic, good minestrone soup, lots of choice of desserts but no service (several desserts stayed just 1 portion and no addition between 18h-19h), gelato all melted not very appetizing, salads bad taste, coffee/tea included. Would not go back, except to watch the races!

If you're a fan of racing this is when you want to visit PEI and the track! The cards of racing are great and so are the attractions fro Old Home Week. You can't beat the people, the horse and they racing or the seafood!

I LOVE the horsetrack..you can stand right up against the rail while the horses and jockeys whiz right past you. The casino is good too ..however they need to get new games more often and have a few more people win at the slots.. We don't see many winners here

Came here on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time.
Horses were running and the weather was great, did some betting, drank some beer, won a little money.
And then we went into the casino and won a little bit more money, so a win/win for us. lol
This was the most fun we had on Prince Edward Island.

I thought we would like to check out this Casino in Charlottetown as the one in Summerside is a lot smaller. We went down when the Old Home Week show was on. Which made it difficult to get in to the Casino unless you paid admission to the show, then I couldn't find a ATM that took credit cards at first the only ones I could find took debit card only. Had to walk to almost the entrance to the show to finally find a ATM that took credit cards. Then when I finally went in to the casino I wasn't impressed as it did not have very many slot machines. Most major cities have casinos that have a lot of slots and tables. If u want to go make sure you check out their website, it might help you decide if you will go! The good news is that I was able to get it a nice size win, so it wasn't a complete disappointment that night for my friends and I.

Thank you for sharing feedback on your recent experience here at Red Shores Charlottetown. Our Casino offers nearly 200 slot machines, 2 black jack tables and 2 UTH tables. Hours of operations are Sunday - Wednesday 11am-1am and Thursday – Saturday 11am-2am with no admission outside of Old Home Week. We do hope that you and your friends visit us again at Red Shores, the next time you are back in PEI.

BUYER BEWARE...We purchase Gold Cup and Saucer Race tickets for Saturday night but due to weather it got changed to Sunday night. We are from out of the province and were unable to attend on the Sunday. We have been only for this event for quite a few years, and will not attend anymore. They would not refund our money. They were $55 per ticket and we had 4 tickets. Poor customer relations!!!!

Thanks for your review and your patience on your guest experience at Red Shores.The 2018 Gold Cup & Saucer scheduled for Saturday August 18th was moved to Sunday due to weather and the safety off all concerned. Red Shores honoured all ticket holders who purchased tickets in the grandstand for the Gold Cup event and did not provide refunds to any customer who couldn’t attend the show on Sunday. However, we need to do a better job on setting clear expectations on how weather delays/postponements impact ticket holders on pre-paid events. This was an oversight. We went there for a staff party on a Thursday evening, and had a blast. We started off at the bar inside the Casino. We all got a free deck of cards at the front desk, and then proceeded to the top of the building for supper. Everything was delicious. There was a wide assortment of food, and even the vegetarian and gluten free staff members were happy. The view from the restaurant is great, and on race days/nights it must be a lot of fun to watch while enjoying the buffet. There's also a bar upstairs as well.
The staff in general were great, but I need to stress how fantastic the restaurant staff were.
We ended the evening inside the casino, and for a Thursday evening there were quite a few people there. We had a bit of fun at the .02 and .01 cent slot machines.
There are elevators or stairs going up to and leaving the restaurant - if you have a drink with you when you're going up, a staff member will ask you to take it for safety reasons, which I think is smart.

we will be attending the live races on Saturday September 29th . It is to be a gift to a friend who will be turning 65 . Where do I find prices for the Buffet and Races ? is there a package ? We will be 5 people . Thank You ...looking forward to this fun evening .

Suggestion: would you please consider adding scallop potatoes on the day that ham is served for the luncheon buffet ?
Wake him on a regular basis and that would be greatly appreciated. One with cheese and one without !!
