On a recent trip to PEI, I found myself in Charlottetown, wandering the streets trying to entertain myself until my husband finished work for the day. I stopped outside the Confederation Centre to sit awhile and listen to a group playing a few songs to the small crowd. I sat next to a lovely woman, who told me about a... More

A fantastic evening at the theatre - the audience jumped to their feet at the end. Loved it. Stick around for the aftershow mini-concert with cast members at the bar!

"Is your soul alive? Then let it feed," is part of a song in Spoon River, playing at the Mack all summer (2016). It's a magical show that will have you laughing and crying and feeling alive. Fantastic cast and fabulous music in an intimate space. I highly recommend it for a great night out.

Without giving away the surprises, this was an excellent play. The premise which is based on poems written about the dead in a graveyard, doesn't sound like much but it was excellent. Great stories, music, singing. We thoroughly enjoyed watching these very talented actors and musicians. If you have the opportunity, this is a must.

While the Mack theater is not really a user friendly venue ( nearly flat floor seating with a low stage makes a clear view over or around the people in front of you almost impossible). The Musical Spoon River is really fantastic. Great acting and wonderful Music. If we were not leaving town we would have returned the following night.... More

Went with friends to see this highly rated show. It was a completely different experience than anything I have ever seen here at the Mack. I won't spoil it for anyone, but suffice it to say you will thoroughly enjoy and be drawn in to this celebration of life and stories. Diverse and deeply entertaining, moving and funny in some... The Mack was the perfect venue for the launch of 21inc- Ideas Festival 2015 - What a perfect backdrop for Atlantic Ballet and Emerging leaders to perform thematic dances based on some challenges we are facing in Atlantic Canada - also was a great place to watch Wanabi Fameur rock out to open the festival. The second night The Mack... More

Saw Gordie MacKeeman and his Rhythm Boys last night and they put on a great show. Nice venue for an intimate show. Price was right, too. However, management needs to fix tables that teeter and totter.

One of the cooler concert venues I've ever visited, the Mack features table seating and a great bar. Even with the prominent bar, it was clear that the focus was what was happening on stage. Acoustically the room is great and the table seating really brought people together. I spent one night seated with three guys from Newfoundland and it... More
