This was the highlight of our family trip to PEI. Digging for the clams was great fun and surprisingly easy (with John's help). After a delicious lunch back at their beautiful home, John gave us a tour of his oyster farming facility which was informative. I expect to see Pinette oysters at the same level as Malpeque in the near... More

We had a great time with Gord. As it turned out, my husband and I were the only ones on the tour that day, which was just fine. We had both been to Charlottetown several times, but we learned a lot about the history of the area and tasted a lot of "goodies" along the way. This is a "tasting"... More

We absolutely loved the Taste of the Town walking tour with Gord in Charlottetown! Just the right amount of people so we could all hear, see and enjoy this easy going, delicious and informative tour. It's truly the best way to see (and taste) enough of the town to know where to go after the tour. Gord was very knowledgable... More

This was by far the highlight of our trip. A fun activity that is for all ages. John and Jackie were incredible in teaching us how to dig for clams and then serving us a wonderful lunch of Clams and Oysters. They are so hospitable and such nice people. I would highly recommend anybody going to PEI to put this... More

Nothing set up on island for disabled. If it is not amendable for he disabled it should not be charged the full price. Thier should be mandatory reduction in price if not accessable. Is pei a third world country or part of canada where we have equal rights. Wake up pei disabled are tourists too!! Pei only wants you for... More

Hello Ron R. I am sorry you found our tour inaccessible. We make it clear in our marketing the tour involves walking and includes 2 destinations with stairs so is not suitable for persons with mobility issues. Had you advised us in advance you have mobility issues we would have tried to accommodate you. We have done so with other... More

My wife & I went on the tour with Bill Dobbin on a beautiful August morning. Bill is an extremely knowledgeable and informative person. The spots to visit were excellent and covered the full range from seafood to beer. I don't understand why this "thing to do" is not rated higher.

My wife and I did this tour as part of our cruise. This was by far the best shore excursion we had. We got to try a nice selection of local seafood and visit local shops. As we walked to each location we got to learn a little about the history of PEI and role in the confederation of Canada.

We visited PEI early June for 2.5 days. It was my boys' (8, 10 11) first time to the island. I wanted to do something fun and different with them. I called the Gillis to book the clam digging experience. Jackie was very pleasant and friendly on the phone. She explained to me their season doesn't start till June 20... More

My boys and I loved clam digging with John this afternoon. The scenery was beautiful and we got to dig clams in the red mucky sand. It's not something we'd get to do anywhere else. My kids and I had a blast. After, John's wife Mary cooked up the clams and John shucked oysters for the group. It was the... More
