So as museums go. This one is solely based on Island Artists which is nice but variety would definitely be welcome. The staff are amazing. The curator is a blast. She is worth the stop alone. As for the art. Some is not exactly what we would consider art in the general sense of the word.

Went to see "Old Stock" on Aug 19, 2021 with Family & Guest . We left all very disappointed with the play.
It was Very Hard to follow the dialogue, and we all left without knowing what the story line was all about, except for what we read about it before hand.
The main character was a good actor, but for some reason we couldn't even follow along with most of his songs to know what the words were.
The volume seemed fine and at times was too laud with the music>>>but the voices all appeared to be muffled from either the sound system or some other unknown reason. Our seating was fine and age of group was from 35 to 64.
If I had of been there alone, I would have left after 15 minutes.

We went in almost by accident. We were looking for the recreation of the room where they held the Conference of Charlottetown in 1864. We have found it and had the pleasure to watch a very interesting small movie explaining the event. We have loved it and the we moved to the painting exhibition of Canadian artists sponsored by the Sobey family. If you like painting exhibitions and are in Charlottetown, it is a “must visit”

Saw the Anne play and it was amazing. Both the adults and the kids loved it (my kids laughed so hard and talked about it for WEEKS after). Absolutely worth it if you're at all a fan of Anne of Green Gables.

We booked the Great George walking tour (offered by the Confederation Centre) about an hour before it departed at 10 am--and were delighted to find that we were the only ones on it. Our guide was fabulous! (Sorry, I can't recall her name, but she had just gotten married, so I hope she recognizes this when she reads it!) She told us so many stories about the history of the area and the people... it added a lot of context to our visit. Answered a lot of our questions also. Highly recommend this tour. Thank you!!

We were able to get tickets to this wonderful production, which was walking distance from our hotel. Fabulous theatre and production. If you’re coming to town, please consider going. I actually purchased the Cows hilarious T-shirt riffing on the comedy play in the lobby.

We also attended the lecture on the formation of the Confederation. Also excellent.

This review id about the theatre snd not the art gallery. We went to see the Anne of Green Gables musical. Show is worth seeing. But let's talk about the place itself.

The good: Very modern. Entrance spacious. Space for purchases (souvenirs, etc.) There is also a bar there. Bathrooms are modern and spacious also. Theatre is quite large but still feel cozy. There are hommages on some of the seats (I had one). Decent leg room. Elevator at entrance to access building.

The bad: Seats can be narrow. Lots of stairs (in and out the theatre itself). Bathroom has a urine stink to it.

This is definitely a PEI stop for your trip.

We went to a show preview and enjoyed it so much. Alan Doyle is wonderful in this production, but so is every cast member. Loved the story, the energy, the laughter. It’s so good to enjoy live theatre with quality content. Highly recommended.

Our tour guide was super engaging and entertaining the whole 2 hours. A nice mix of stories ranging from Gaelic folklore to murders to hauntings, some well-known and others more niche and obscure. Really enjoyed hearing about the stories you would only hear from tours like this. 5 stars for the quality of storytelling. My only wish would be to have heard more stories on the tour than the half-dozen that we heard tonight! Definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested.

I would recommend it. I liked the short video at the beginning of the self guided tour that reimagines how the confederation first began. The museum on the second floor was amazing! Some of the art their were mind blowing. I would recommend for kids, adults or solo travellers
