Riverfront area is surprisingly busy during the pandemic. There are a lot of people riding scooters, assuming there is a scooter rental there. Lots of people biking and walking along the trail.

Along the riverfront are statues and pieces of artwork. And of course the view of the Detroit skyline is amazing to look at during day, nighttime, or the sunset! And if you're lucky enough to stay at a waterfront hotel, enjoy the sunrise as well!

Also worth checking out the Ambassador Bridge at one end, and the Berts Weeks Memorial Gardens on the other end, and the Detroit Princess sailing along the river during the day.

Lots of Canada Geese when we went though, so just watch out for landmines and aggressive birds while enjoying the area.

We visited on a beautiful sunny day. Although it was winter, you can see that it will be a bustling place once the weather is warmer. Plenty of seating, photo op places and a nice cafe will be available once spring arrives. It also looks like they are doing some renovations to the place. Can't wait to return when it is warmer! Plenty to do in the area such as restaurants and casino

I ran my fastest 10k and fastest 15k along the waterfront! It is relatively flat and during the evening in winter few people.

Parking is free for the first hour near the bridge.

The view is amazing! If you are a selfie nut, check it out! There are many sculptures, military monuments and oddly enough the view of Detroit is pretty good.

There were many pokemon stops and tons of gyms, also many, and I mean many pokemon!

My only concern were the tons of geese, dog walkers, seagulls, smokers and teenaged selfie seekers. They don't pay attention to what they are doing.

Aside from that I enjoyed it immensely!

A pleasant stroll along the riverside allows one to view the Detroit skyline at its best. Gradually you will walk up to an old type school bell that is larger than you and soon a few flamingos. These and other sculptures are just waiting for you to stand next to them for your next photo and Windsor memory.

A great walk along the Detroit River. The walkways are all paved and there is plenty of room for bike riders as well. The river is beautiful as are the sculpture gardens the city of Windsor have installed along the trail. The trees and wildlife also enhance the walk.

When we’re in Windsor, we always stop by the riverfront and spend a little bit of time here. Whether it’s during the day or at night, the views of the Detroit skyline are very nice. Make sure to bundle up. It can get very cold and windy near the river. While we’re snapping pictures of the area, we try to walk down the river in each direction to see if we spot anything new.

There are a very few views that can beat the view from Windsor across to Detroit. Day or night, the view is spectacular! Enjoy a long walk from downtown to the Ambassador bridge along the water. The sculpture garden near the bridge is singularly different and interesting. If you see a better view - tell me.

Get some air and go for a walk in Windsor on the waterfront when the weather is good. Ok if it’s insanely hot or cold maybe not but when the weather is good you get the fresh air off the river and it’s been cleaned up nicely. All the industry is gone.

I've traveled to many places and lived just outside of Windsor my whole life. People can say what they want about our city, but one thing is certain. We have one of the most beautiful river fronts around. And the city has done well at keeping it open so that everyone can enjoy its beauty.

The Windsor Riverfront is truly beautiful and has great views of the Detroit Skyline and the Ambassador Bridge. Regardless of what month or season it is, you'll have a great time here. Even when it is late at night, you won't need to worry about safety here as it is very safe and clean, as was the case for me when I was in Windsor briefly. Be sure to bundle up appropriately if coming here though, especially in the cooler months, as it can be quite windy by the river. Since I live in London (Ontario), I don’t think I’ll be here again for a while, but this certainly is one of the activities I will do again if I ever need to be in the Windsor area again for any reason.
