this park is a great local, family friendly nature park ideal for those who enjoy the outdoors - there is even a building with facilities to rent for a child's birthday party

I took my 5 year old granddaughter here and she really enjoyed the hands on nature centre. We walked through the woods. There are several trails you can take that vary in length. If you want to get away from it all and exhale, here's the place. Back to nature.

Beautiful nature. Was cold but was a very nice little spot to visit. Looking forward to visiting again on a greener day. Could not see much wildlife present but I'm sure there will be more to see as spring has just arrived. I enjoyed it here.

This is a paradise, truly paradise! This is the home of Bambi and other childhood characters that were THOUGHT to just be fictitious. We MUST fight to ensure that gems such as this are NOT forgotten fairy tales told to children of tomorrow.

A lovely place to go for 3 to 4 hours to escape the hassle and bustle of city life. A short drive to the western heard of the city.

In all fairness, damp, rainy foggy days don't make for easy walking! However, when on a vacation, you can't let the weather keep you indoors. The paths and rails are easy to navigate, and even in the unpleasant weather we've been having, this is a good place to get some fresh air and exercise. Be sure to dress warmly! The... More

It is so nice to have this right next to the city! It was a quick drive out from Caesars--too far to walk, must have transportation-- and it was just beautiful. Black squirrels everywhere, cardinals, all sorts of birds, and we did see a doe in some tall grass off the paths! They are there you just have to look... More
