If at all you decide to go out and are not in the mood of driving too far, then this is one the locations best recommended.

This quite neighbourhood park is located in downtown toronto just opposite the Dufferin mall and hence parking is not a hassle as you can park in the underground mall parking for free until 8pm. There's a lot of coverage with the abundant amount of trees so you don't have to worry about catching too many rays on a scorching hot day. We were at this place with a couple of our friends last Sunday. Once again had to get there early to get a good spot, there are not many tables and sitting areas but we managed to get the last table available for our group just in front of a campfire area. The park features a multipurpose sports field, a basketball court, a picnic area, a wading pool and a children's playground. There are campfire pits throughout the park (need to be reserved in advance), the cob courtyard which is a complex of little cottages that has sinks with running water and a fireplace). The park itself seemed to be very community oriented. When we reached there, they had Zumba in the main area of the park with all ages enjoying themselves. During the day, they had some dance of the aboriginals which was really nice and colourful. Then they had a quick parade and a short animal show for kids, the kids were all participating in the slogans and enjoyed it very much.

It was much fun and we enjoyed the place completely.

This local park has it all. Soccer field, outdoor ping pong table, kids playground, volleyball net, basketball court, picnic tables, plenty of benches, skate park, outdoor concrete skate rink and even indoor ice rink. We used the park several times and it was full of life; youth soccer matches were being held, couples were using the picnic tables and people were even grilling at the park. Located right across the street from the park is the Dufferin Mall.

It is a beautiful park in Dufferin. It has good spaces, a lot of trees, and the zone is marvilous. For exercise, sports, and rest is very good place

Homeless people and squatters have taken over the park making it dangerous especially at night. It used to be a great place before the city allowed permanent tent settlements in the summer of 2020.

While visitors from out of town might be drawn to other parks in the core (High Park, Trinity Bellwoods) this park is more for locals. There is a little bit of everything here, with a sportsfield, playground and fire pits. Not really a must-do in terms of Toronto experiences but if you travels happen to find you here on a weekend then it will have been a worthy diversion.
