This museum is incredibly beautiful- such gorgeous grounds- doesn't feel like you are in Toronto! But the exhibits were a lot tinier than I expected- I guess I'm just used to giant museums and not these cute little boutique ones? Still delighted I went though!

And the special show of gem-studded items was breath-taking. The pottery, porcelain, illustrated manuscripts, tiled fountains, all beautiful!

It was a very unique museum in focusing a lot on Islamic culture and evolution. Certainly the exhibits are very beautiful and exquisite. They have also made good use of technology and the vastness of the building to create the experiences.

This beautiful building just worth the trip. The collection of ancient artefacts seems interesting. There are some truly beautiful pieces. But the collection misses context. The descriptions of the pieces are limited and repetitive. The chronological settings of the artefacts doesn't help to understand the...More

inhabitants include students and long-time residents,
giving North York an eclectic feeling of being both
