Had no idea what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised with the humour through out the night. The food was surprisingly good (split the chicken and the beef with the girlfriend) and throughout the night the actors/actresses would come sit at your table, chat and make you laugh. They do an excellent job interacting with the crowd and including those... More

Hi arzadkow, Thank you for taking the time to review us - we appreciate your feedback! I wanted to mention that if you're ever bringing someone who is very shy or would rather just sit back and watch, you can let the Box Office know and we'll communicate that to the cast (but generally, they're pretty good at realizing when... I didn't know what to expect when my wife and I arrived for a Friday night performance of "Murder by the Books". You can almost miss the entrance on the west side of Yonge St. Sure, there's a sign and a door squeezed in between, what?, a waxing clinic and medical research office. Where's the theatre? The mystery deepened as... More

Hi Samhar! Thank you for the feedback on the show and meal. We're very sorry that your dinner came to you incomplete - that shouldn't have happened, of course. We'll speak to the chef and the expeditor and let them know, and in the future, please tell your server if something is not right so we can address it immediately.... More

We have been to several other mystery-theater dinners but this one was head and shoulders ahead of the others. I expected the usual mediocre dinner, but their food was as good as you'd expect in a top-notch restaurant. The actors seemed to work very well with each other and their handling of unexpected inputs from the audience showed how accomplished... More

Hi Paul, Thank you for the great review. I'm so glad we exceeded your expectations of dinner theatre! The way the cast works together to improvise and incorporate audience input is one of my favourite things about our mysteries - it's different and unexpected every time :) See you in March 2017 for our next hilarious whodunnit! We saw Killer Tunes on the Saturday night of a long weekend and the theatre was close to capacity. We really didn't know what to expect but were pleasantly surprised and had a very enjoyable night out. The evening began at 6:30 and, although a limited menu was offered, the selections were adequate and the food was good. Service was... More

We had plenty of laughs at Killer Tunes last night. A mixture of scripted theatre and improv, combined with the participation of the crowd in the room, made the evening enjoyable and entertaining. This is our second time at Mysteriously Yours and we look forward to going back again. We have never eaten at the theatre due to the fact... More

Recently saw Killer Tunes and really enjoyed the night out. Dinner was served 630-8, the food is a limited menu with choice of an appetizer, main and dessert, tea/coffee also included. The food was pretty decent (both meat choices were very good -tender and well seasoned, sides with it were ok but nothing special, my partner said the dessert was... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
