This is a good place for families to sit and relax. Children can play in the sand and there are plenty of deck chairs and umbrellas.

My wife and I with our 11 year old grandson had visited the Distillery District & walked to the waterfront before heading towards downtown Toronto. We had bought some bottles of water just before coming across this little oasis with sand, deckchairs & sunshades all...More

This is a cute little beach which we saw on our bike tour. The name sugar beach comes from the sugar refinery right next to the beach. Its cute with good views and nice chairs and umbrellas

Sugar Beach is part of a concerted effort to bring life back to Toronto's over-industrialized water front. On that measure, it is a success. It's a nice spot to drop by as part of a walk on the water front. You could start at Qieen's...More

This beach is a little hidden gem in the middle of Downtown Toronto! Really cute area with chairs and umbrellas that has beautiful views out over Lake Ontario.

Nice to walk to sugar beach on breaks and enjoy the weather and water. Go to school nearby and is a nice place to unwind.

This a lovely little beach nook that is often relatively quiet. It's the perfect beach to bring a book and just sit and relax. You are unable to swim from this beach, but you can wander east along the waterfront, where there is a splash...More

Gorgeous little beach in the city. Wasn't overly busy while we were there so we were able to get chairs. Great sunset and the trees and fountains around are lovely.

Relax, pack a picnic and enjoy at day at Toronto's waterfront. The colourful area has Muskoka chairs and umbrellas to just sit and relax. It is not a place for swimming although it has beautiful white sand. It's a place to relax and enjoy or...More
