Nothing seems more exciting to kids 8+ than a medieval dinner eaten with your fingers, accompanied by a talented group of sportsmen who joust, compete, sword fight and demonstrate horse riding skills and accuracy. It is expensive at around $60 per person including dinner. The whole event lasts about 2 hours. The food was more than acceptable in taste and... More

We were visiting Toronto and decided to make reservations for my husbands 60th. We had never been to anything like this and what an awesome surprise. Our 17 year old daughter had the best time!!! We screamed and cheered like we never have before and really got into the spirit of the show. Dinner was great and the whole night... More

There is absolutely nothing negative about Medieval Times. From the time we entered the building; to looking around at the different counters; to being escorted to our seats; the food was out of this world; our Serf or 'Man Wench' was such a nice young man & did a great job serving us. The entertainment was phenomenal! We had the... More

My family had a fantastic time at the tournament. We paid extra for the birthday package, as it was my son's 9th birthday. Totally worth it - we got seats up front, special VIP lanyards that my kids thought were the coolest thing ever, a professional picture prepaid within the package, birthday cake, banners to wave, and a shout out... We wanted to do something different and fun and medieval times definitley worked! We used streetcars to reach the castle and once we arrived the staff were lovely and made it so enjoyable. Perfect for families it is very fun and offers many gifts and souveniers. The food was very nice and filling and helped keep up the medieval feast... More

Went with friends (all middle aged adults) Saturday June 16th. We had the upgraded package that included the towel, vip holder and preferred seating. Show was mediocre - I actually felt bad for the horses. The riders wear spurs and the dancing horse was being spurred the entire time - perhaps this is normal but it still made me feel... More

We visited on a Saturday evening in July. They recommended getting to the castle 1 hour prior to the show - this is mostly so you can look at the items to purchase in the castle. Once in your seats, it is hard to get out to go get a drink or anything. The show is fun - lots of... More

Our experience at Medieval Times exceeded our expectations. What a fun experience! The show was spectacular! The acting and horsemanship was amazing. It almost felt as if you were in the middle of a motion picture. There is a vegetarian option for the meal which proved delicious. Portions were generous as well. I would recommend bringing a sweater or jacket... More

Our cousins treated us to a marvellous evening of medieval magic recently. They surprised us by taking us to Medieval Times. It was a wonderful experience! The cast members were amazing. They even had our son knighted for his 18th birthday! I highly recommend the knighting ceremony to make a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, graduation) all the more special. You... More

Staying in West End

Neighborhood Profile
West End
The go-to area for new business start-ups, the spry and creative persona of the West End thrives along its streets. Its independent boutiques, galleries, restaurants, and shops offer brands that can't be found elsewhere. Buildings with ground floor consumer spaces sport up-top artist's lofts, and the West End attracts artists, designers, and fashion industry professionals to its living quarters. It is in the cross-hairs of gentrification, but still resisting it with ironic relish. Hot deals can still be found here on furniture and knick-knacks,. Its call to culinary glory is in its well-priced homemade Polish food, hosting Toronto's go-to spots for hot pierogis and cold borscht. High Park, the largest green space in the city, is a place for dreamers and poets to wander and rest, not to mention a number of energetic actors staging outdoor plays in the summertime.
