I applaud this company's decision to close for a period of time given the situation as it attempts to be socially conscious. Important to me, unlike other events, I was given a prompt refund, unlike events scheduled through ticketmaster (sorry, not refunding because classifying as a postponement is b.s.). So I hope M.T. remains independent in their ticketing. Thank you and I will be a customer when you reopen. Patrick.

Pros: The show was great. The horses were gorgeous and the games were highly entertaining to watch. The wait staff was attentive and very friendly. Hats off to them as much of the meal was served in the virtual dark. Not a drop of drink was spilled, no food missed the plate. Cons: The food was just so-so. I didn't need half a roasted chicken. No one in our party did. A lot of food went to waste. The chicken itself was bland - some seasoning would have went a long way. Same goes for the potato - boring. The corn was nice. But - credit to the kitchen because despite the quantities being served, my food was hot!! Was it fun, absolutely. Would I recommend it as a must do....not really. Unless you're stuck with a rainy day there are lots of other worthwhile things to do in Toronto.

I enjoyed myself , the only thing i wish they can do better is to serve the food all together versus bringing the food out 1 by 1... other than that its a fun experience.

Attended the dinner and show recently and must say we were all very impressed! The show was varied and entertaining well choreographed, sparks flew as swords clashed! Considering the food is produced en-mass for a large audience it really was very good! Hot tasty tomato soup, although would have liked to have the garlic bread sooner to accompany it. The half chicken was moist very tasty, the half seasoned jacket spud was fantastic, although the corn was unfortunately over boiled. Dessert ice cream with Carmel sauce, you can’t go wrong with ice cream! Our vegetarian friends enjoyed their meal options too, all in all a fun evening for all who attended. The hardworking servers were great, hustling and bustling to feed and water us all with smiles on their faces. Thank you Medieval Times for a great group outing.

Let me start this review with an acknowledgement that the actual show was fantastic. However, the Medieval Times organization was chaotic and, even after they admitted that they had not provided most of what we had paid for, including the ability to sit together as a family, there was no attempt to compensate any part of the $465 we had paid. When asked what we would accept as restitution we asked for a donation to a local charity food program. Medieval Times thought that the three free slusheys they had provided to my grandsons was enough. Shame- it is an excellent show put on by a company that has no concept of corporate responsibility.

Response from CastleWench, Public Relations Manager at Medieval Times Dinner & Tournament
Responded Mar 10, 2020
Dear John - our Service Manager responded quickly to the seating issue when you arrived and provided an alternative table option for your party that you declined. You chose to sit by yourself removed from the rest of your party. Our manager checked in on your family during the show and they graciously assured him that they were enjoying the experience. He also checked in with you at your table and offered to speak to you after the show. He positioned himself at both the arena and main exit as he does for every show to capture feedback and thank guests for their patronage. We are sorry you were unable to locate him. Our responsibility to our guests is to provide exceptional family entertainment and a four course meal. These items were provided to your party. We have apologized for not delivering the birthday announcement which unfortunately was not registered at the announcement desk. We are unable to meet your charitable donation request and will attempt to resolve this via email directly with you. Thank you
