- Carolyn E2 contributionsGreat fun to be hadThis was an absolutely fantastic experience. Lots of fun, great food and a fab show. We were very well looked after throughout and the show was very entertaining. Would highly recommend for anyone looking to have a fun evening with something a bit differentVisited October 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 15, 2023
- Susan MOntario, Canada3 contributionsFabulous Family EventWe paid the extra to be a part of the Queens Royalty group, giving us front row seats, a clear view of everything and a fabulous picture/folder for everyone in our group. Although we haven't been here since the late 90's when we brought our kids and celebrated my Dad's 75th birthday, it was wonderful to bring our kids again and watch them enjoy their kids and our grandchildren having such a magical time! Our granddaughter was even chosen by the Black & White Knight to fight for her! She was absolutely thrilled at age 7!Visited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 16, 2023
- peter k1 contributionsuper night outit was simply magical. it is on the pricey side but worth every penny. staff is cordial and entertaining. our server was funny and engaging . the food was amazing and plentiful. our friend was vegan and she was taken care of without problems. the show was amazing. our knight didnt win but it was amazing anyway. for a fun night out or to celebrate definitely worth visitingVisited October 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 23, 2023
- Wendy L10 contributionsWonderful Christmas Gift!!!We had a wonderful time. We went as a family Christmas gift with Son, his wife and three granddaughters. Watching the girls joy as they were transported in time was such a gift for us. The meal was good and the servers and employees were wonderful. Before we went I thought it was expensive….it was truly worth every pennyVisited December 2023Traveled with familyWritten December 28, 2023
- Jessica S8 contributionsFun time! This is my first time at the Toronto location. It’s been over 15 years since I went to the one in Schaumburg. Seemed like not much has changed between then and now. We mistakenly booked for the incorrect date not knowing until we got there, but we got extremely lucky and they found a spot for us! It was a bit hectic so we appreciated them squeezing us in. Our server seem to struggle to keep up. We had gotten our chicken and nearly finished when she finally came around with our sides. She was nice and she tried. Chicken was REALLY good! The sides were really good too! The show itself was great and enjoyable! I wish they had one closer to Ohio, but we didn’t mind the 4.5 hour drive up!Visited February 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten February 7, 2024
- Janet M1 contributionFamily Day FunThe experience is wonderful. Very entertaining. The food is good, great portions. The staff are friendly, professional and helpful. Our Server Ashley was fantastic. The only downfall is the seating is a little tight when you have 7 people at a table. Also the drinks and souvenirs are expensive. I would recommend the upgrades to VIP it is worth it.Visited February 2024Traveled with familyWritten February 20, 2024
- Gayle L20 contributionsMy Lords & LadiesOur knight and his guests were welcomed to the castle in true royal style. We cheered loud and honorably for our black and white Knight. Our knight fought valiantly and with bravery, and was chosen as the champion of the tournament.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 12, 2024
- Navigator545113555381 contributionHail Red KnightRed Knight selected me as his tournament Queen. My 6yr old grandson was so proud. Good sized portions, too large for small children especially when they are so fixated on watching show. Took home leftovers. Staff very friendly. So cute seeing so many little ones dressed for era attending show. Show hasn't changed much since seeing it some 10+ yrs ago. Will tske my other grandson when he turns 6 in 5 yrs.Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 14, 2024
- Denise S6 contributionsOverall great experience! What a great experience. I would recommend paying the extra for the VIP passes. You get seater first, a banner to wave around, food is served first and your seats are at the front. Drinks are included however if you was specialty drinks or alcohol it's and extra charge. The timing of everything keeps the kids entertained and excited. Be prepared to eat with your hands. It is part of the experience. They don't accept cash to purchase any other the extras. Gratuity is not included so do t forget to tip your server at the end!Visited March 2024Traveled with familyWritten March 15, 2024
- Kym PMeaford, Canada163 contributionsFun family eventPrior to booking online look for a discount code, saves you a bit. Doors open 1.5 hours before the performance but they do not let you into sit at your table until 15 mins prior to the show starting so you are basically left wandering around the very large gift shop. Any person who upgrades to VP status is let in first so there is no point in lining up and they ask you not to as you block the doors. The dinner was good, eaten with your fingers, soup, garlic bread, very large pieces of chicken, potato and corn. We could not eat it all and the kids picked away at it. We upgraded to the middle package and it was $7 extra per person, we got a family photo for each person, priority seating and upgraded desert, cake. Parking is $15. Kids enjoyed it. The only downside was the drive in and out of Toronto!!Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 25, 2024

After my visit it was evident that the horses were only performing because they were afraid of being whipped, in one instance the horse was actually running from its trainer as a part of the routine. The rest of the show is (for the most part) well choreographed. There is the ability to do a jousting show with consideration for the horses well being and safety, I cannot say that I am impressed with that part of the experience. You don’t need to whip a horse into doing tricks for an audience to be entertained, let alone have the volume that loud while the horses are on the stage.
For the dining, vegan and vegetarian options are essentially the same. Aside from a slice of cake and ice cream where sherbet is provided for the vegan dish. There isn’t anything bad about the options provided, it’s a step in the right direction but compared to the amount of food provided for non-vegan patrons, there was considerably less available for the same price.
The show itself was relatively entertaining for kids, as for adults, you would be more interested by the jousting and maybe the sword fighting. It is more of an experience catered towards younger kids and that isn’t a bad thing but I’d say there is much work to be done in the direction of treating animals humanely, especially when you cater to vegan and vegetarian diners, I don’t think those sort of customers enjoy watching horses whipped so that they can courtesy.

We go every year for my husband's birthday. Unfortunately we had to miss two years due to the pandemic; this was our first trip back since 2019. They have changed the storyline, which I liked. The portions of chicken were huge, and the food was all quite good. Our server, Nicole, was very nice and attentive. There were social-distancing protocols in place, like spacing between parties, and sections entering and exiting one at a time to prevent a huge pile of people being crammed together. Several people were wearing masks, although it's not required.

Quality of food was alarming. I have been to Medieval times at this location about 10 times over the years. This was the worst. They start out with a soup. They pour it from warmer jugs, so there is no consistency about how much you get. Our group was the last for our servers (Daniel;s) area, My husband tilted his bowl without lifting it off the plate and could see the bottom of his bowl without spilling any out the other side. All of us got the same amount. So we each were given about a tablespoon of soup.
The chicken was served next. The skin was soggy, and mine was actually missing the skin. The chicken was very dried out, that it had a weird feeling when you tried to rip it apart. You could feel the texture, like trying to rip a piece of felt. Weird. The half potato was well seasoned, and the 1/4 piece of corn was crispy and good. During the meal, they come around and try to sell you pictures. Your hands are greasy, you're trying to watch the show, and get interrupted to go digging in your purse for your wallet. The dessert is frozen chocolate Ă©clair. Then the waiter comes around and reminds you /asks for tips. When he comes around again, (most we saw him the entire night) Not once did we get asked for a re-fill on pop. WE gave him a tip then asked who it was from. WE said the group of 5 but then he went and placed a small plate and a written tip request in front of the two adults in our group, and then came back around moments later and asked if they had saw it. Three times they asked for a tip. BUT not once was I asked if I wanted more water or pop... I guess the priorities are different.

Thank you for providing your feedback and letting us know about these issues, Good Noble. We set a high standard for ourselves and are truly sorry to hear that standard was not met during your visit to the castle. Please get in touch with us at toronto@medievaltimes.com and provide us with more information regarding your experience and we'd be happy to discuss with you further. Thank you.

Classic family and friends fun! We went to celebrate a birthday and it was definitely a great experience where we had fun and best of all, didn't need to think about food.
The quality of the food is par with like a Swiss Chalet but the quantities are massive and you will not need food until the next day!
The performances are done really well and you will be cheering very loudly a lot.
Overall would recommend for families and friend groups of all ages for some good fun. VIP upgrades are definitely a must for the best experience (like 50% of guests when I went were VIP)

It was our fourth time at medieval times. It was again enjoyable but I dropped a star as the announcing of not only birthdays this time but also people’s “1st visit to Medieval Times!” was annoying to say the least. That took up I would say 10-12 minutes of the show. I can understand birthdays but seriously they need to cut that out as it’s out of control. 5 or 6 birthdays and anniversaries I understand but there were probably 20+ announced. Food was plentiful as usual everything was a bit over cooked (food comment only posted for management-but since there was so much food we certainly did not go hungry) and the show was entertaining. Parking was $15.

Medieval Times delivered an excellent show, with our valiant Knight emerging victorious, his flowing Pantene-commercial locks streaming behind him as he won every test at the Lists. Actors were magnificent in the roles of the Queen, Lord Marshal and the bloodthirsty Lord Cedric. The girls shared a Queen of the Tournament honour for fancy dress and passionate cheering. Horses, falconry, jousting, feasting, sword fights, maces, pageantry, great company. A+ evening. Everyone went home in a state of pure delight, with many newly purchased glowing claymores and axes from ye olde gift shoppe.

It's a great show for everyone. The meal is quite good and very generous. All staff are courteous and efficient. A couple of things to consider before going - if you don't want to stand around dodging the very overpriced gift shop, arrive 30 minutes before your show. There is absolutely NOTHING to do once inside the "castle" as the dungeon is closed since covid. You can have a quick peak at some horses through glass and then you listen to the kids whine about all the stuff they don't need in the gift shop. Second, take a cooler if you have a car. There will be food left over if you have kids. The dinner is half a chicken, half a potato, corn, soup, garlic bread and dessert. Should you upgrade to VIP? Same show, same dinner. VIP gets you into the arena first but the show won't start until everyone is seated. You get seated lower but again, there are really no bad seats so being higher up isn't a bad thing. It's not like you're in the nosebleed section, it isn't that bad. We paid $15/person for the VIP upgrade and I don't think I'd do it again. Your choice.

The show was good, the cast, attitude and atmosphere of the arena were fantastic. However, during the final battle between the knights, our server was having trouble with the debit machine for the couple next to us. the server stood in front of my children for at least 4 minutes trying to get the machine to work, when he could have moved off to the isle. i asked the server if he could move so my kids could see (politely), but he either didn't hear me, or deliberately ignored me. This REALLY took away from my children's experience, as it was the final fight between the knights. The food i found to be poor as well, although it was nice and hot, the quality wasnt there. i got a soggy piece of corn, soggy chicken, and cold soup. the desert had the potential to be delicious, but it was still frozen when it arrived to us. All that said, i feel like we really didnt get the experience we had paid for. red and yellow knight, table 12, July 31st

A great night!!!
My kids and us had so much fun!! This was our second time with our older two, and first for our youngest. My daughter was enthralled with our Knight, who gave her both the flower and the Queen of the Tournament 💙💙 He totally made her night.
Even with the restrictions the staff was amazing. Our wench was great with the kids as well.
We will be back!
The food was great as well!! Chicken done very nicely, potatoes and soup were perfect. Great job all around!!

Where do they get their garlic bread from? Is there any information about the suppliers for their food, specifically the garlic bread?
Written January 11, 2024
But there are vegetarian meal options, and a list of allergens that are in their foods. There should presumably be gluten free options since they cater to allergies

Can I apply for the free birthday dinner five days from my birthday?
Written January 17, 2022
The best way to get the most accurate answer is to call the location you plan on going to.

You eat and watch the show at the same time

is it handicapped accessible? My son is in a wheelchair. Should I purchase tickets before hand or when I get there?
Written July 14, 2019
Yes, it is. I am no rollator and I left my walker in a specific place and walked down assisted by my son to our VIP seats. As for a wheelchair, they will give you a choice as to how to get to your seat.
It is wheelchair accessible. It is advisable to buy your tickets ahead or get one of the offers from the Internet to save.

How much is it to get a persons birthday announced during the show? For you Spring in to Savings do university students qualify as students or is it just public and high school?
