We saw Come What Mayhem. It was good but I think the best part of the evening was at the end of the show when the cast did some improv. Third time I've been to Second City. Always a good night out.

It should come as no surprise that the show at the home of so many comedic legends would be hilarious. It definitely did not disappoint. Super funny show!

Love the history in this place. Had kids there for Superdude and Dr. Rude. Great show, fun entertainers with great improve skills. Kids loved helping with the show and seeing their suggestions pulled out of the bucket of Destiny! Would love to return for an adult show!!

This was fabulous. Took 2 7-year- olds.s of audience input. And yes there are political references for adults.....but kids loved everything about it. Good idea to have a fun, fast 1 hour show. Drinking beer while the girls drink Gilda Radners added to the good time. Kids still talking about it.

Much of the material was same/similar to the revue show we attended during the summer. If material is basically repeated but the show name changed, that should be indicated in the description. Jammed in like sardines. Nacho chips and salsa over-priced for quantity. Funny show, quality performing, nice souvenir glasses.

I took my kids to see "What the elf". It was a mildly entertaining show and I might have rated it at 3 but... The first thing you see when you look at the stage is a big, bold "BLM" plastered on the wall. I'd be annoyed even if I agreed with BLM narrative, principles and methods. And breaking of... More

With an early dinner planned and my wife and daughter going to the Nutcracker, my stepson and I had a two hour window to kill. I thought why not Second City. Buddabing buddaboom they had a couple of tickets available and believe it or not his ex-flat mate Lindsay was in the show (or should I say stole the show).... More

Generally we love the Second City comedy house and appreciate how hard it must be to be funny to everyone's sense of humour. We saw "Twist Your Dickens" at the Toronto Centre of the Arts and I struggled to stay throughout the whole performance. A few good laughs but missed the mark for me :(

Went to see What the Elf? today with the kids. It was a pretty good show, started slow, and would have been better with a bit more audience involvement. The kids (11&8) enjoyed it.

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
