We were at an October 2016 Thursday night show of Come What Mayhem! We were a bit wary that as Brits a lot of the humour would go over our heads but rest assured that apart from an occasional local reference the sketches would have universal appeal (except maybe to Trump voters). The performances were brilliant (some of these guys... More

This the best, and my favourite, Second City Toronto Show I've seen thus far. I'm an improviser/sketch comedian and actor/writer. I teach and perform at the Second City Training Centre, and I've been studying/training there for 5 years. Needlessly to say I'm invested in this art-form. This is the boldest, most opinionated, brave, in your face, smart, powerful, moving, hilarious,... More

Excellent comedic actors, with short, politically minded sketches that had us thinking, and laughing at the same time. The real highlight was watching the improv. Definitely worth a trip on a night out.

First time visiting Toronto. Saturday October 8th my boyfriend and I and our friends had dinner which ran longer than we thought. We arrived at the comedy show and got the last four seats! This was by far the funniest laughing out loud the entire show. Great improv! What a fabulous crew! Best comedy show we have ever attended!! We... More

We had a great time! - Saturday night's 'Come What Mayhem' was very funny. We were so impressed with the cast, especially Ann Pornel. We expect we'll be seeing from this very talented comedienne in the future. Book ahead and try to get rail seats. The staff was wonderful, too! This is a a reasonably priced must see when you're... Greta show in a great theatre with some really talented performers who made the night fly by with such funny and insightful sketches, improv is not normally my bag, but this is special.

My husband and I were wandering around Toronto on a Friday night when we made the spontaneous decision to buy tickets for a show that was starting in a few minutes. We got drinks at the bar, sat down immediately and were not disappointed!! They perform short, pre-rehearsed sketches that are hysterical and relevant to today's politics and pop culture.... More

Well executed, fast paced and very funny comedy sketches. There are so many sketches if you don't like one just wait a few seconds or minutes for the next one. Seating a little cramped so I would pay the extra $10 for the more roomy premier seating.

This was a fun experience. We ordered tickets by phone a couple of weeks before we arrived. Our tickets were held at Will Call. After reading reviews we decided to buy rail tickets, which are reserved and have a lot more leg room. We were not disappointed with that choice. The humor was very funny-what's not to love about taking... More

Come What Mayhem! is a great show. Very current, political, on point and funny! If you want the best seats, pay the additional $10. Some snacks are available for purchase even though they don't offer dinner onsite. Great way to spend a couple of hours in Toronto.

Thank JennieJM

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
