Lindsay was the main instructor. Shay was her assistant. Both were very knowledgable. Lindsay 's explanation, expertise and skill were superb. She was very patient. She communicated the message well. The macaroons turned out very well.

I am not much of a cook let alone a pastry chef but I wanted to try something new with my girlfriend. We took the macaron making class and I must say, it was some of the most fun I've ever had. Lindsey, the instructor, was awesome. Not only is she incredibly knowledgable about her craft, but she was hilarious... More

When I first saw this workshop, I immediately wanted to take it as I'm a huge fan of donuts, and it was certainly worth it! Lindsay is a great teacher and even if you've never fried or cooked anything before this is a great class anyone can take (and leave with delicious donuts).

I've taken quite a few classes at Le Dolci & I've learned so much. All the instructors (Lindsey, Lisa, Stephanie) have been very helpful and have made it so easy to learn. I look forward to taking more classes.

I had tried making macarons previously with no success, so I came across Le Dolci and decided to try their Parisian Macaron class. The class was very informative, Lindsey is an awesome instructor. She went through the whole process, took the time to explain things, great personality and sense of humour which made the class even more fun. She also... More

I took my dad to the summer tarts course taught by Lindsay. This was the second time I took my dad to a class as he loves to try baking new things. I would highly recommend the courses at Le Dolci and specifically with Lindsay - it was organized, fun and easy. A great way to bond with family or... More

This was my first time taking a pastry class and it was so much fun. We made doughnuts with Lindsey, she was a great teacher, very knowledgeable and made this class a great experience! I will definitely be taking another class here!

Staying in Little Italy

Neighborhood Profile
Little Italy
Toronto's Little Italy is a city hotspot for cafe culture and nightlife. There's something for everyone in Little Italy, apparent from the cross-section of clubbers in glitzy dresses, and elderly couples arm-in-arm heading to their favorite wine or pasta spot. Cafes spill onto the wide sidewalks, pool lounges and bars are always teeming with noise and activity, and both outdoor and indoor marketplaces are packed with fresh fish, cured meats, and pungent cheeses. All of the activity makes it a perfect spot for people-watching, especially over a nice glass of red wine or a quick and sumptuous slice of pizza at one of the many eateries or trattorias in the area.
