The area

Address
Neighborhood: East End
The East End is an eclectic amalgamation of areas that team up to make this district one of the most multi-faceted and alluring. Home to Toronto's LGBT community hub, Gay Village is alive and pumping day or night with friendly bars, nightclubs, and cafes – its thumb is on the pulse of excitement. For a more relaxed day, the East End has the largest collection of restored Victorian homes, and its stately streets, tree-lined and bursting at the seams with affluence, often sport farmers markets and street artists, epitomized by the effusive St. Lawrence Market. One of the most gorgeous of Toronto's neighborhoods, it also straddles Lake Ontario in an area called The Beach, where you'll find folks cycling and strolling along the sandy shorelines, getting some sun or enjoying shopping, dining, and pub options. For some fabulous food, the vivacious personalities running the restaurants in the East End's Greektown is only equaled by the fun and authenticity of the street stalls and restaurants at its expansive Indian Bazaar. 'Something for everyone' has never been so accurate.

Find this place, you will get the perfect photo shot. this is what you see in the brochure, but you have to know your way round I think. We were on a coach tour so did not even know this is where we were going.
Perfect skyline pictures and I imagine the night time pictures would be even better.
The skyline view with the CNTower are iconic.
Loved it

It was full of people that only want to flaunt their bodies and wealth. In order to sit you need to order bottle service and the cheapest thing is Ketel One vodka for $220.00. Both staff and guests are very rude unless you look good and are spending your money. The view (of the city) is amazing though.

We wanted to come in with our friend for a while, and finally made it all together in August (10 people). Everything looked beautiful, white and clean. The only concern I had is that we had to pay $20 to come in and $20 to get to the pool which is really small + $10 downpayment for a towel. It is beautiful, don't get me wrong, but $40 to come in and have no place to sit?

Cabana costed us $1400 on a top of cover fee. So, if you feel comfortable paying $200 per person for a pool party, then you should go.

I don't regret coming. It was fun, but I don't feel that it was the best spent $400 for my husband and I.

Polson pier has a great view of the Toronto skyline and possibility of a great sunset behind the Toronto buildings. I drove from Mississauga (around 25 mins) on a weekday and it was relatively empty. There's parking just before the park/nightclub and it was relatively empty around 8 when I reached. I was there till 10:30 pm and it was pretty crowded by the time I left. So it would be advisable to reach early if you want to relish the sunset.
There were few people with their camera/tripods and a separate couple photshoot was going on. Few people were just to enjoying the view and some groups were waiting for the nightclub to open. I don't see any security issue with many people around. Again, try to get in early to avoid parking issues.

I really, really wish i could give zero, even negative stars.

Me and my girlfriend went to Cabana to for the first time to see one of our favourite dj's of all time. It should have been one of the greatest days of our lives. Instead, while standing by a table (the entire club is surrounded by tables so this situation was inevitable), some fellow came up to me and my girlfriend and threatened to smash us in the head with a bottle for standing too close to they're table. I am 22 and my girlfriend is 20 and this guy was clearly over 30 years old. Four guys surrounded me and my girlfriend shouting and threatening us with violence till we left. Not a single staff member or customer said or did a single thing. After this I told not one, not two, THREE bouncers of the incident which just took place and not a single one even approached the table, let alone kick them out. The bouncers clearly have no concern for the well being of the customers. I asked a bartender to speak to a manager, after asking twice and waiting 30 minutes no manager never arrived. It became clearer at this point that customer service means absolutely nothing to this establishment.

My girlfriend and I left the bar after only being there for an hour and half and not even seeing the dj we wanted to see out of concern for our safety and well being. I paid 40$ dollars to be get in, and wasted over an hour and $30 dollars in travelling fees only to be threaten and mistreated until our departure. I wouldn't even recommend this establishment to my enemies, let alone ever return here myself. If you enjoy bars that prioritize profits over safety and customer satisfaction, than Cabana is the place for you!

The service here was appalling! We came in at opening time and they were very disorganized at the bar! Regardless of the fact that they open at 12 PM, I don't understand why staff aren't trained to prepare prior to when people arrive. The bar informed us that they could not give us any drinks such as mojito's or pina colada's, so we settled for the rum and coke. And to top things off, it took 2 and a half hours to get a food order! An hour and a half to try to track down someone who would take my food order. I went up to almost everyone I saw who kept redirecting me to other people. Finally, when someone took my order, I had to wait another hour just to get my wrap which was stale and very disappointing. Even though they had nice facilities, the horrible service and unfriendly attitude of the staff is enough to turn me off from ever going back. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Visited this outdoor bar on Polson Pier. My first interaction with the security convinced me that they were there purely to harass you. For the entrance fee (around $20), you get access to the bar area, but not the pool (you have to pay extra for this). The scantily clad stewardesses are aloof and unhelpful, and are largely there to smile and make as much in tips as they can. However, if you like looking at scantily clad girls, then this is a good place to visit. Drinks range from around $8 to $10 for a beer, and more for mixed drinks. The pool itself was chilly (even for mid-summer).

Just came back from there. Sound quality was awful, we couldn't see the screen from the car the resolution was so bad, and when we asked for a refund we were told "to bad." Save your money. You will ruin the movie, as you car hardly make out the images.

Security guards also walk around checking people's tickets wish flashlights which gets really annoying. It is not an enjoyable experience.

Save ur $$$, not worth the money or the hassel. Forced to order food if u sit. Went on the 21st of june, esthetically beautiful, it was 2 pm not a whole lot of ppl but we just came to have a few drinks in a relaxed spot. Lots of empty couches. Waitress came by said that at these tables if we ordered drink n food, even an appetizer we would be ok to sit. After ordering a $40 pitcher of sangria and fries we decided to sit right next to the tables, on couches. To our delight, we were forced to order from the entree menu. After being harassed by big bad manager Helen who came numerous times with the first 7 min followed by a male waiter to intimidate. We left after finishing our pitcher. Not
impressed with the treatment. Hope no one has to experience such an awful day like this one. Especially when u came out to chill and relax.

I phoned The Docks to see what time one of their attractions closed. Twice on the phone their customer service reps told me it was open, so naturally I drove down. Twenty minutes later when I got there it was definitely closed and always had been closed. Unfortunately they were not that friendly either or could answer why they said it was open.
I wrote to The Docks manager to bring this lack of knowledge and customer service to his attention. Unfortunately he hasn't even acknowledged the complaint.
This can only tell me they are not interested in customers. It's pity there isn't more competition for them to force them to improve.
