I was visiting Toronto for a few days and wanted to visit the beautiful Distillery District. Exploring the area with Segways was not only fun but educational as well! The tour guides (Logan and Katie) were awesome. knowledgeable, very nice and kept things light and funny. I took the hour long tour and it was truly great. At the end... More

Our family (2 teenagers aged 15 and 17) did the 30 minute tour and we all really enjoyed it. We had used segways a few years ago but needed a quick update and the instruction was excellent and individualised so that every ability was covered. Very well organised tour and our leaders Will and Logan were excellent -funny and very... More

We had a great time touring around the distillery district with Josh! Seeing a new part of Toronto and hearing about the history of the area was great. But of course the best part was learning and riding around on segways. After a brief lesson we were touring around like pros. Great way to spend the afternoon!

We really enjoyed our tour, and the area needs some history knowledge before approaching it. It's one of the most beautiful, lively and interesting areas in Toronto. On weekends can get busy but it worth the visit whenever you have the opportunity. We will be back on a week day in order to enjoy everything we've learned about the area.... More

I did the 30-minute Segway Distillery tour. My main motivation was that I've been wanting to try a Segway since I first saw one on television, and this was a good opportunity. It was easy to learn and a lot of fun. Even though the actual tour was not my main motivation, I thought the history Joe shared was interesting... More

Riding the segways was a blast. Our tour guides, Gavin and Sergie, were knowledgeable and funny. Only wish we had done the hour-long tour instead of the thirty minute tour.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
