I just finished a Distillery District Segway Tour with my 13 year old son and his friend. We did a 30 minute tour which was fantastic. From start to finish the Go Tours team was friendly, professional, helpful. Josh was our guide and one of the boys said he learned more in the 30 minutes then he did all year... More

A great way to see the distillery district and learn about the history of the area. Excellent instruction by Erik and Chelsea who made riding the segways fun for all. The beer and chocolate samples were especially welcome.

We opted for the 45-min "World's Least Scary Ghost Tour" as a compromise to the shorter 30-minute "regular" tour and the longer (and more expensive) 60-minute option. It was 7:00 at night, so it wasn't close to being dark outside in early July...too bad, as that would've been cool. FYI, you're required to wear a helmet that you pick out... More

Hey Pernasus, Thanks for the detailed review of The World's Least Scary Ghost Tour, I want to take the time to clarify a couple of things for any future clients: 1) We sanitize the helmets after every tour to ensure proper health and safety measures and have hairnets available for all patrons. 2) We hope you come back and explore... We opted for the half hour tour to save money but wished we had done the full hour. We were new to segways and not very athletic but they made it easy to learn. Our tour guide Erik was funny and knew a lot about the distillery district. Learned some history and had a great time doing it.

We did the walking tour/tasting. Great time! Definitely recommend the tour. Logan was our tour guide and not only was he really informative and knowledgeable but he was sporting the KCCO logo, which was just, well, super cool! Would definitely do this again and would recommend without a doubt! Cheers!

Four of us took this segway tour of the distillery district. Great fun organised by great staff. Highly recommend this as an add on to a day visit of the distillery district.

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
