Spent a lovely day here. It is such a quiet little idyll only minutes from a very busy city. We visited off season, and there was not much open. It is lovely just to walk around. During the summer there is a little fun fair...More

It's worth to go just to see Toronto from other side. It's calm and relax. Probably during summer there are a lot of people, but on lazy sunday morning in the end of September there were only few people there.

If you like natural spaces near a big city, Toronto Island Park is a great place to visit. There are several islands, some not permitted to have people (to protect wildlife). There is a nice beach, a couple of food places, a fountain, and lots...More

I'm skeptical of places that look too "touristy", so I went reluctantly to Toronto Island Park, but it was well worth the visit. Lots of walking trails with bike rentals available if you want to cover more ground. There are a few food choices and...More

Who would have thought that there was a beach over here as well as an amusement park and beautiful flowers and shrubbery! Worth a visit.

We were lucky to have a good warm but overcast day for our trip to the island. Lovely walks and must be the best views of the city you can get from the ferry

Wait for the night to set and appreciate the Toronto skyline from the shores of the island! Visit the beaches on the other side and bring some food and drinks - restaurants and bars only open during summer season.

We went here on our first morning in Toronto right when the ferry opened up. It is a small island with beautiful views of Toronto and plenty of spots to get photos of the skyline. We rented a 4 person bicycle and rode the whole...More

Why are reviews written in December raving about "swimming" and a "nudist beach" - it is minus 12 - are they nuts? I would like reviews relevant to the season please.
