Always a favourite. A nature oasis in the middle of the city. There were some early spring blooms and lots of families strolling along the path. We walked from the gardens to Sunnybrook Park. Nice paved walkways and some trails through the woods too. Very clean and no geese/duck poop. Hopefully the Do Not Feed the bird signs are helping.... More

Edwards Garden is a great place to slow down and enjoy nature in the midst of busy city life. I've been visiting it for years, enjoying a stroll with my then boyfriend now husband in the Spring, a brief cycling trip with my young boys in the Summer, a quiet and reflective moment with my hubby in the Fall, and... My first experiences as a child were visiting this place. Whenever I visit Toronto I go there to luxuriate in the warmth and greenery. All the steel and concrete of the city disappear once you are inside. A relatively small facility compared to other large cities but still a refuge. If you have the time its easy to reach.

Ideal place to go with family for a small picnic. Great pictures can be taken as well as I saw lot of pre-wedding shoots in the garden as well.

I was a gardener here last year and also visit the park for walking a lot in four seasons. If you visit, make sure you go to the other side of the ravine too! Many people don't realize that side is very different. There are large 100+ year old trees, a sizeable teaching garden with vegetables and medicinal plants, and... More
