Great FREE tour of Downtown Toronto lead by Aaron. He was knowledgeable and fun and pointed out various facts that even the locals were not aware of. Meeting point was easy, directly opposite the information desk at Union Station. Would recommend

Does anyone know if this tour group is ceasing operations? they are only showing available dates until the end of May. I have sent several emails asking about booking June 4th without a response. I have friends arriving from the UK and I thought this would be a great intro for first time visitors.

Do your friends enjoy good food? They could go along on a Vancouver Food Tour with Melody Fury... it would be a really unique way to be introduced to Vancouver.

So much to see but so little time-Suggestions on what to do! (3 Replies)
One can easily spend over a week and not see all there is to see. We will arrive on a Thursday afternoon and will catch a cruise at noon on Saturday so it doesn’t give us much time to explore Vancouver. We would like to spend some time exploring Stanley Park and Granville Island. We thought strolling through Gastown would be a neat thing to do as well. Is it possible to do these things in the short time we are there? We were also thinking of the Tour Guys tour of Downtown and Waterfront...More

I think what you've got on your itinerary is fine, but here are a few local pointers from somebody who lives/works downtown: Steamworks is great, but you might also enjoy the Yaletown Brewing Co in Yaletown, which is a lot closer to your hotel... about a 5-6 minute walk. Just as good craft beer, and I'd even argue better food. Less touristy than Steamworks but still hugely popular amongst locals. They have a nice patio, too. Granville Island should be be visited no later than 5pm. The...More
