After the Tour with our excellent Tour Guide Chris , I went home and googled much of the stuff he had told us about because it was so interesting. Chris had a great voice which he projected with humour and drama. The historical information was very interesting. Extremely highly recommended. A tip is expected and in the case very well deserved.... More

We did the "Old Town Toronto Tour" on a Saturday--it was great way to see the city! I liked being outside, the fact that the tour was only an hour and a half, and our guide seemed very knowledgeable!

The tour is great , Garry was the name of our tour guide and he was such a cool and smart person. He really knew a lot of very cool facts about Toronto . The tour takes you to places that you might not find that easy on your own!! Strongly recomend it :)

My wife and I did the Financial district and the Old Town tours with Garry. We had a great time, leaned a lot of interesting stuff and would recommend it to anyone. Also, the guide was really tough full of his audience (ex: made us walk in the shadows and traverse building with AC to help us cool down, adapt... More

We went on the Downtown Toronto Tour with Julian and it was great! Julian has found his calling as a guide....he was informative without being opinionated, interesting without being a bore and knowledgeable without being a know-it-all. He keep the tour at a good pace despite us being in a very large group and waited for us at the back... More

A brilliant walking tour of the dark side of Toronto. At times quite macabre. Really interesting and well presented by a guide who clearly came across as passionate about the history of Toronto (and Canada). Would thoroughly recommend.

Our tour with Julian was the highlight of our weekend trip to Toronto. I find history fascinating, especially the history that's not as well known, and he did a great job explaining everything and keeping us interested. Since it was free, we were nervous it wouldn't be good, but were so glad we did it. If you are interested in... More

Staying in Downtown

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown
At the heart of Toronto, Downtown is the destination for cheap eats and fast fashion. Cut through by hip and trendy Yonge Street, the vibe here is young, with a strong student influence from the Ryerson University Campus. As a result, the Downtown area is always in flux: undergoing the construction of new facilities, with fresh retail spaces and pop-up cafes. Home to Toronto's largest indoor shopping mall, a number of vintage cinemas, and a healthy nightlife centered on the area's Distillery District bar and clubs near the East End, it's both an easygoing daytime spot and a popular party place after sunset. It also features some of Toronto's best outdoor landmarks, including Yonge-Dundas Square and the Nathan Phillips Square: perfect for a concert, a skate, or a relaxing sit-down.
