Go early to avoid massive summer line up to ferries. Adults can join children or grandparents can join grand children on train and some other rides. Fast food almost inedible .run by poorly trained children. We go every year and never gets any better.

This is an incredible theme park for families with young children, at Toronto's centre island. They have done an outstanding job maintaining the old rides and have added new ones over the years. There is a petting zoo as well as lots of small gift shops and restaurants with patios. It is an outdoor theme park and is best enjoyed... More

Recommend taking the kiddies and strolling the park. There are age-appropriate rides for the little ones and not really overpriced. There are food establishments and shops throughout the amusement park. Enjoy a sunny, peaceful day in the park or surrounding grounds for a family picnic!

Have been many times and it never disappoints. Lines are never very long and move quickly. Staff is always very helpful getting little ones on and off rides. Kids as young as 2.5 can ride on some rides alone which is so cute and so much fun for them. We always buy a season pass which basically pays for itself... More

Found this place Outdated and Overpriced from the price of the ferryboat ride to the Island to the rides and the lousy food. Place might be fine for very young children but older children will find it a real bore.

Although the theme song states Centreville is for kids..it's also good for teens and adults. Not the type of rides that Wonderland has...these rides are more carnival type rides, it's a good way to spend the day. Half the thrill is getting there...taking the ferry to the islands. Kids will love it.

We took our 3 and 5 year old to Centreville for the day. They were able to get on all the rides, so it was a really fun experience for them. For about 30% of the rides a parent had to ride along with the kids, so we wound up having to buy the wrist bands for the kids as... More

Centreville is a great, affordable trip for young children. There is a splash pad, that older children wouldn't mind, but my 2 yo loved all the rides and even had his first pony ride! We brought lunch and enjoyed it on another of the islands. The Toronto Islands are well maintained and beautiful. We watched the city while the little... More

If you are thinking of coming here, finish reading this review to the end - there's a story to be told that I recommend that you to take advice from, especially if you care about customer service. But first, the positives. *Easily accessible from Toronto by boat (boat to Centre Island). *You can buy tokens for a reasonable price that... More

I have fond memories of Centreville from my childhood & now that my toddler is 2.5 yrs old, he's really at the perfect age to start enjoying the park himself! There are rides for bigger kids too of course. But there are 8 rides that kids under 4' can go on by themselves, and another 13 that they can go... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
