Good fun!

The park is nice for small kids and the rides are age-appropriate. The ferry trip to get there is fun too. We went last year and returned this year again.

I brought my three yr old again this year as loved it last year. Totally recommend getting your ferry tickets online to avoid the Huge line ups. Also online unlimited ride passes are cheaper and if you can take advantage of the family deal, it is cheaper as well .

This was a lovely place to visit, & one, which was enjoyed a lot. The only reasons, I didn't give 5, is because I think the price, is a little steep. Kids had a great time, staff were friendly, & apart from 2 rides, my children were able to go on all the rides.

If you're thinking "amusement park" downgrade that to "country fair carnival". My husband hadn't visited in 32 years and still recognized the rides because so little upgrading had been done. The grandchildren became impatient with the restrictions put on the rides - too short; too tall; too busy to allow them to get in line for a second go round.... More

Travelled on 8.30am ferry on Saturday morning - no queues, no issues. Headed to beach and splash pad for early morning fun before lunching at Centreville. Rode on train, old fashioned cars and pony rides - all enjoyed by 3 year old! Fantastic!

The park is nice for the little ones. My kids insisted on going even if they are almost teenagers. For my surprise they loved it!!! If you are already in center island it is a nice stop for the kids.

It's a pleasure to travel to Centreville as the park is now in its 50th year and not much has changed. The grounds are well kept and the rides are appropriate for the younger children. Depending on when you go, the lines aren't too bad. The scrambler was our kids favourite!

Not so interesting for kids older than about 8 who may be used to more exciting rides. Part of the park was closed due to cable car repairs, so did not see 100% of it. If you do not buy a whole day pass it is expensive as some rides take 6 tickets each.

Its always fun to take the ferry and go to 'the Island' for a Torontonian. I recently went to Centreville with my family including our 1.5 year old. Go first thing in the morning on an early ferry and get to ticket booth when it opens. For little ones, its better to purchase a pack of tickets rather than a... More

We stumbled upon this theme park by accident due to the lack of research! We were just expecting to have a stroll on the island! My son LOVED all of the rides here and we ended up spending our entire morning on all of the different rides. Even though he is quite young (22 month old) he was able to... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
