Incredible evening at St Lawrence Market with Chef Scott. Magnificently planned evening with a fantastic menu along with a guided tour of St Lawrence Market. Each and every staff member made us feel at home. it was a wonderful dinner party with about 60 people. Learned some new facts about the history of the Market and Toronto. Highly recommended.

My two teenage boys and I enjoyed our tour with Chef Scott. His knowledge of Chinatown and the history of the area was great but we also enjoyed his personal stories. He took time at the beginning of the tour to see how adventuresome we were so he could order both food that we might not try otherwise (chicken feet!) as well as foods we knew we would like (General Tso's Chicken, which apparently is an Americanized dish). The servings were very generous and we went home with a LOT of extra food for later.

It's always fun when people are willing to be adventurous and Chef Scott is always willing to oblige. Glad you guys had a great time and left with some tasty doggie bags.

We had a wonderful time on the Chinatown tour, Our guide was very friendly and made sure that we learned a lot and also got to sample a little bit of everything. We really enjoyed the Chinese bakery stop and the Dim Sum was great too. I would highly recommend this as part of your trip to the Toronto area- we certainly did not leave hungry! Make sure you're ready to eat a lot and have leftovers. Overall this was a very well-thought out tour and which included some types of food that we would not have normally tried. We would love to take another tour when we visit the area again. If you're up for a fun day and learning and tasting some new things then this tour is for you!

I signed up for the "Friday Night Market Feast" tour scheduled for late August. Due to COVID-19 this tour was cancelled but the website was not updated to reflect this. 5 people showed up that evening (we didn't know the other 3) and waited for Chef Scott to show up. He didn't. Someone found a # for him and by chance he was closeby. He came by, apologized profusely for the error, even offered us a whole lobster to take home. He promised to contact everyone within a few days to reschedule or refund us. It is now mid-November and after multiple attempts to get in touch with Chef Scott we are unable to do so. I feel ripped off and very disappointed because I am a regular visitor to St. Lawrence Market and I was very much looking forward to experiencing it from a different perspective. I hope the others who showed up that evening had better luck getting reimbursed than I did. I would not recommend Toronto Food Tours.

I bought food tour gift certificates for my parents for christmas pre-covid. The website is still taking bookings but it looks like we have been ghosted. I have called and emailed multiple times to book them in with no response. Chef Scott stole my money. I have lost $200. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY.

I was completely ripped off by Toronto Food Tours. They charged $300 to my credit card for a Friday Night Feast that was ‘postponed’ due to Covid but then disconnected their phone number, email and the voucher link showing $300 has been paid is no longer valid!! This is completely illegal and dishonest. Is there anyway to get our money back. From the reviews many have been scammed!

Worst customer service ever. $125 Gift basket from St. Lawrence Market showed up for a friends birthday to her on the wrong date, prices on items and basket from dollar store. Wrote two emails stating problem and not one reply. Will never use again and disgusted with service. Boo on you Toronto Food Tours and Chef Scott.

I bought the St. Lawrence market food tour pre-COVID and was scheduled for April 2020. The company did not respond to refund requests and completely ghosted. I see others with similar issues and I think the company is now out of business, but the sketchy part is they are still showing as open on their website and taking people’s $. Also unfortunately it looks like the chef passed away January 2021 according to FB so the business is definitely closed. I am out over $300.

I attended the St. Lawrence Market Friday night feast with Chef Scott with a friend and we were celebrating her birthday. It was so much fun - a very interesting tour of St. Lawrence Market with Chef Scott started off the evening ! There was a delicious charcuterie board as well as accompanying beverages - wine, beer and champagne. We enjoyed working with Chef Kelly to make the salad and then enjoyed watching everyone working at their stations. The room where we worked and ate was beautifully decorated and highlighted the lights of downtown. The meal was AMAZING!! And we especially enjoyed the wonder stories that Chef Scott shared!! All in all it was a wonderful evening!!

I did this tour on Tuesday 30th April and had a really good experience. The tour is in 2 halves; coffee and a bakery good with a short walking tour of about 45 minutes then followed by the food. It was great being able to try a bit of everything which wouldn’t really be an option if going without the tour. Our guide, Bary (sorry if spelled name wrong!) was very friendly and knew a lot about the area and the food. The Food itself was great, we tried a variety of different foods both sweet and savoury and all were delicious!
