The museum has just is now reopen after a few months of closure due to major renovations. More renos will come as much of their material is still in temp storage. Currently they offer a great traveling exhibit prepared by the Bank of Canada etc...More

Small exhibit but great information about the mining town and how it grew to be. Nice gift shop to explore. There was a small art class going on for young kids and it seemed well attended and interactive.
