Great place to go for a family walk or hike with or without your dog. Beautiful hike through a bit of forest to the falls any time of the year!

This is a very good "bang for buck" walk to the falls after a short drive out of town. The last part is fairly rocky so may not be as good for people with mobility issues.

Loved this area! Multiple paths, covering a wide area and different length trails. The map on display definitely helped us to get around.

I would consider this a must-see in Thunder Bay! Take a quick zip out of town to the Conservation Area, and find yourself at a sizeable parking lot. There's a loyalty parking payment of $2. There you'll also find a map of the area, and...More

The Cascades is such a beautiful area of Thunder Bay. I enjoy walking there when I can. However, I tend to avoid it on weekends and in the summer. There is so much garbage left down by the river, and so many people do not...More
