This was my fiance's first time skiing and was nervous getting geared up and on the hill. The guy downstairs was really helpful and patient with us when we were getting all our rental stuff and gave my s.o. some tips that were great. When we got out there, the lift operator also had a lot of help to offer... More

Insanely expensive, usually very busy, often extremely icy conditions.... I only ski here because its close. When in doubt, its Lutsen mountain 1.5 hours south over the border. No comparison. They have almost 100 runs, most of which are far longer, 4 mountains, 11 lifts, a gondola.... I could go on. Loch Lomond is just not worth it.

Legit there is no one to check your tickets, no point in wasting 60 bucks for a full day when you can walk right through and use the hill! I wont even tell you guys how many times weve rode this hill for free, such a joke

The website is false. Wanted to go tubing yesterday and the website said that it was open from 12-10. We arrived at 1 only to be told that tubing doesn't actually open until 7 and that they are aware that their website is wrong. They were rude and gave us attitude. Left disappointed and unlikely to come back.

The Ski Patrol team here are the best and put the safety of their customers and staff ahead of everything else at all times. If you see them, be sure to smile and wave, they are always happy to meet new folks. They especially like it when someone swings by their hut with beer after hours! All the best to... More

I was visiting family in TBay and my brother and I decided to hit up Loch Lomond for the afternoon. While it may not be in the Top 10 of ski mountains, it's not bad for how accessible it is. My brother told me the other choice was Baldy, and from previous reviews it seems Loch Lomond has always been... More

If you live in Thunder Bay and don't want to drive out to Lutsen every weekend, this is a nice place to ski. The hills and the lifts are well maintained. The ski chalet could be nicer though. The prices are high but it is close.

We decided between here and Baldy and didn't regret it.Skiing was excellent, food upstairs was great the beer also, I don't know if it is always this way but the washrooms were always dirty and the concession stand down stairs is not recommended. All in all the experience was great, just got to hold your nose and know where to... More

The ski hill is excellent for children, the staff was very helpful for my young granddaughter. I had the chilli and toast while waiting for my grandchildren, and it was the worst chilli I have ever had. Take your own food with you.
