We recently attended the viewing of Johnny Cash. This is agreat date night activity. We went for dinner and went to the theatre. They have a comfortable lounge to have a cocktail on arrival and during intermission. The staff are courteous and very helpful.

I went to see Mamma Mia on July 20. The venue is great and I would think all seats provide a good view of the stage. The staff is kind and helpful. The show itself is worth seeing - especially thanks to the talented singers - and the dates have been extended.

Jake's Gift is a one-woman production that will leave you astounded. Julia Mackey has truly honed the parts of Jake and his nine-year-old Isabel, who chips away at his hard exterior to get to know the Canadian who hadn't returned to Europe since WWII. You'll laugh and even may shed some tears; after all, this is a story of humanity! Brava Julia! Whether you can see it at the Sudbury Theatre Centre or another venue, you should get to see it. The Education department ensured that students would be able to attend this production as a matinee. Even they were spell-bound and provided with the opportunity to ask questions of both the play-write and a couple former members of the military. This was an entertaining and inclusive event. Bravo, STC and Julia Mackey.

Went to see opening night of the YES THEATRE production of HAIRSPRAY!!!! The theatre is fabulous, intimate, not a bad seat in the house. The production was fun, uplifting, energetic, professional. The cast was outstanding. If I were to start boasting about one of them, I'd have to boast about all of them. They were all amazing. Parking right across the street, plenty of nearby places to eat and reasonably priced tickets. If you haven't got tickets yet, get them soon!!

Saw Fiddler on the Roof at the STC . Wow! Great show, great acting and great venue. Parking was plentiful and we had great seats. Tickets were bought online with choice of seats available. Ended up centre stage, second row for a great view. Support local theatre!

Always a great show. Been many times and have always enjoyed myself. They usually have at least one show each year that is for the kids.

There are many great shows and plays that occur at this theatre, however there are very few seats for the population of the city. There is a great gathering area during intermissions, but again I believe it should be bigger. We are a big city, and should have a theatre as big as the ones in Toronto.
