Beautiful to swim and relax. Fun for activities. Can't bbq but a nice picnic area is enticing. Every age group would appreciate this beach and free parking for now.

We visited Sunset beach in St Catharines hoping for to see a wonderful sunset but was unfortunately cloudy that evening. Wonderful beach with free parking. Get place to stroll along the beach and enjoy the scenery.

This beach is close to my home and it is a place we often come to walk at the end of a day all year long, but especially in the summer. The sunsets are spectacular and the expanse of Lake Ontario, often studded with silhouettes...More

This beach is beautiful and well kept. A great place to watch the sunset, walk your dog, paddleboard, you can launch your boat or sea doo. Best beach in St. Catharines

This is such an under-utilized area of St. Catharines. Usually pretty clean... the only draw back is the stinky smells that emanate from the waste control plant when the wind is in the wrong direction. There's a few picnic tables and a large grassy area,...More

Great location for a day at the beach. Picnic tables and benches all over. Unfortunately no kind of bbq grills. Beach is kept fairly clean except for ignorant people who leave their garbage. Sunsets here are excellent due to the direction of the beach. It...More

Perfect place to catch the sun set. Let the kids play at the park and relax at the beach. This beach is tucked away in the north end of St. Catharines.

I had no idea about this hidden gem. Great biking trails, a massive beach that is much less busy that port dalhousie. Tons of picnic space, shade and playground. new fav beach!

I'm sorry- I can't answer that- boats do launch- I'm not sure on the size. There are two marinas however in town.
