Sometime we take for granted the truly beautiful city we live in. But it is a great reminder of just how beautiful & strategic a location our city was built at when one takes a "Walk on the Boardwalk". As you walk along and look out at the St Mary's River you can let your mind drift back 200, 300,... More

The Board walk goes along the river and is well taken care of and easy to walk on. Lots of people using it but it is not crowded. A lovely place to see the sunset. It conveniently joins the main mall with points of interest such as the Art Gallery. A great addition for tourists and locals.

Very nice place ti walk but has no washrooms and no place to eat, if you are there on a sat. or sun. after 6pm your out of luck for any food or a place to even get a coffee. The mall is closed and the tent only opens when they feel like it. Was there for a show and... More

We stopped here on a whim, which turned out to be great! A good view plus there was an old replica ship docked there for the weekend that you could tour (a little pricey) but made for some great pictures!

If your looking for a scenic walk that takes you along side the water, this is your place. Very beautiful view. Nice breeze. You can even bring a fishing rod.

A well constructed boardwalk along the river, but little to SE and do. Not a bad place to walk or run safely, but only the water to observe.

this is a beautiful walkway along the St Mary's river and through the native lands of White Fish Island. I go there often to enjoy the outdoors and be among the people of the area. This is a jewel in the crown of Sault Ste Marie

After a day of driving we went out for dinner and a walk on the Boardwalk. A fairly busy place, there was a replica ship you could go on, which we didn't go on that seemed costly. You can get an ice cream, we just wanted to stretch our legs.

Our first visit to the Soo, went off to an amazing start. We enjoyed a long walk along the boardwalk after the long car ride from Parry sound. A great place to stretch out and take in amazing views along the way. A "must"

If you're in the area and need some exercise or just want to take in the sites then this is for you. It was pretty much across the street from where we were staying and so it was very convenient. The views of the river were awesome and the kids got a kick out of being on the Canadian side... More
