This is a very nice new walk right along the edge of the water. It is probably about 4 km long. It's a nice easy stroll to see the water, ending up at a lighthouse/museum. It passes a shopping centre where you can pop in for lunch. We took the main road back past all the very old buildings. Park... More

What a pleasure to stroll the boardwalk on a beautiful summer day. We saw a bridal party, numerous dogs walking their humans, and informative signage along the way. There was also several art installations on the walk.

It was a very windy day when we were there, so much so their were white caps on the river. Still a pleasant place to walk, safe wide walkway. Saw the boardwalk police, zipping through on their motorized trike. Always smart to keep an eye on things.

If you are visiting Sault Ste. Marie, take some time to walk on the waterfront. This boardwalk is lovely and the scenery is beautiful. There are also many attractions along the way. We saw many people out enjoying this boardwalk and waterfront.

Strolled the boardwalk while passing through town one evening. I found it less well maintained than many other cities' waterfront trails. Still uplift was well used and well lit, with a lovely patio where people could stop for a bite to eat or beverage of choice. Nothing I would go out of my way to see but I would probably... More

Enjoy a casual stroll or a bike ride on our boardwalk overlooking St Mary's River. It is adjacent to our mall so you can purchase anything you are needing and enjoy the great outdoors all within walking distance of each other.

This is the boardwalk along the Canadian side of the St Marys river that is part of the Lake Superior. It is very quite and you can enjoy an evening to view the sunset. Not very crowded and a lot of eating places are all close by.
