A huge emporium of original artwork, carvings in stone, native crafts. From small pocket souvenirs to canoes, paintings to wall coverings. Exceptional quality. There are artists on-site doing what they do. Prices are fair. Staff is knowledgeable and friendly.

I make sure I visit Whetung a few times each year. The selection of art and talent shared there is worth a visit of about 90-120 minutes. You will be sure to find treasures for yourself or gifts for others...tax free! Great gallery.

This is a very good place to visit and see and learn about aboriginal art and crafts and folklore. Also, to experience the day to day life from not too long ago. Well worth your time. Bonus!! A really nice country drive.
