We had a wonderful day at the Riverview Park and Zoo. Our grandson has a lot of energy and this was the perfect place for him to run around. I gathered some amazing pictures, but my favourite was the iguana starring at our grandson through his glass enclosure. We didn't get a train ride because the line up was very... More

bumped into this zoo accidentally when walking on a forest trail; a nice place for children and easy to see most of the zoo at once; nice to walk through

A great place to visit with young kids. They love the animals, there is always some action. It's a fun walk to the train and for a nominal fee ride across the Otonabe River. Nice picnic areas, playground equipment for all ages and an awesome splash pad. Best of all ... admission is FREE!... Donations are accepted.

It's pool has a plexiglass open side within a building so you can watch the otter swim underwater. There is a colony of meerkats as well and they are so cute! Many exotic birds share a compound with... More

The City of Peterborough has done an amazing job. A splash pad for the kids , a picnic area by the river , awesome. You would never guess....it's... More

Not the biggest zoo, but still a great place to go for a little visit. Probably don't need more than a morning of afternoon.
