With a couple of friends, we took in a football game of the Ottawa Redblacks who hosted the BC Lions in an exciting CFL football game on a clear Saturday evening.

Lansdowne is a modern complex filled with a variety of different amenities. The stadium of course host many events but are most known for their Redblacks football games, Ottawa Fury fc soccer games and Ottawa 67’s hockey games which attract a variety of fans and create a fun atmosphere with their pre game pep rally and post game celebrations. In addition to ten stadium, Lansdowne is home to many stores and restaurants. Lansdowne also has a great green space in the back, looking over the canal. There is a skate park, a skating rink in the winter, a fenced dog park etc. Lansdowne also has many events outside of the stadium including a weekly farmers market on sundays in the summer and a few more events in their 2 buildings available for public bookings. Overall a great area.

Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to write a wonderful review! You nailed it on the head from the sports games, the farmer's market and public spaces for rent. The Aberdeen Pavilion and Horticulture building are fantastic venues for medium to large scale events that are available for rent. Happy to have you back!

On Sunday we went to Landsdown for the morning and found parking right outside the box office window. I went to pay at the City of Ottawa kiosk and there was an advertisement to download the Whoosh parking app which allows you to make your parking payment directly from the app. Seemed like a good idea! An hour later, I topped up my time using the app, from my table, inside the restaurant. When I got back to my car I had a $75 parking ticket! When I asked the parking attendant what was going on he said, "We don't have access to the app so we just ticket everyone that doesn't have the parking payment receipt displayed in their window"! He told me to call the city and the fine would be removed. I just called the city and was told I have to go to city hall and show them my proof of payment!!!!!!! I have the receipts from the app but this is a complete waste of my time!

Don't be fooled when driving by on Bank Street - behind the corporate storefronts you will find a huge park with basketball courts (ice skating depending on the season) plus a skateboard park, children's play area, water features, and more - including professional sports Ottawa Fury (soccer) Ottawa RedBlacks (football) and Ottawsa 67s (Junior Hockey). There is also a movie theatre, many shops and restaurants, and ongoing special events like a farmer's market.

Such a disappointment. The grounds were all set up for markets and venders and at 10:30 on a Saturday morning in the middle of July, it was DESERTED! There was a park for kids but there were large empty buildings, huge empty paved areas and huge block restaurants - all waiting for a game at the stadium. Only go if there is a game and then I would be worried about parking and crowds.

This area is relatively new to Ottawa, you will find a mix of shops, restaurants, movie theatre and of course the TD Stadium. The Rideau canal is also just a very short walk away. There is a very good variety of restaurants with nice patios in the summer. As well there is a movie theatre that offers VIP service which allows you to reserve seating and order food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to your seats. You can travel by bus or car as there is parking available (no free parking). I would however not recommend visiting during the games at the stadium as the restaurants are full with the fans attending the games and parking is limited and is quickly filled by the fans attending the games at the TD stadium. This area is much cleaner than the Market area and there are fewer peddlers.

Have attended twice to Lansdowne. Excellent location with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Sat on the older original side as I prefer the overhang. Seats are roomy and a large screen for replays. Would be nice to have one at both ends. Overall love the atmosphere.

The revitalization of this park has turned it from a weedy parking lot to a gathering place for Ottawa and area. The space is well-designed, has great, unique shopping as well as wonderful outdoor spaces complete with an apple orchard and picnic tables. The football stadium, TD Place, is amazing. The Horticultural Building has undergone an amazing transformation, and the Aberdeen Pavilion remains an architectural marvel and the jewel of this park. Well worth the visit...pack a lunch, bring the family and have a picnic some weekend this summer.

Came to Landsdowne Park with friends to watch our Toronto Argonauts play against the Ottawa Red Blacks. This place is a family friendly stadium and has many eating and shopping places all around the park.
