Parking a Nightmare
Jan 2020
Went and shopped for a few hours in the mall on a lazy Monday. When I came back to my car, I had a 'Parking Infraction Warning' which claimed that I had done a park and ride, which was completely untrue. When I took the warning to security, they said it was up to me to prove that I didn't park and ride. The receipts for my purchases, including showing them the times on the receipts, were not enough. So much for innocent until proven guilty. I felt like a fool for giving this place my business. I wonder how much money they lose in 1) salaries to overzealous parking attendants and 2) alienated customers who no longer feel welcome because of such warnings?

Easily accessible mall
Sep 2019
St. Laurent hosts many stores and a good variety of kiosks in the food court. Easy to find parking, a number of entrances/exits and easy access throughout the mall. Public transportation also available to ease shopping for those without their own transportation.

Shopping Centre in Ottawa’s East End
Aug 2019 • Solo
It’s shortly to become even more accessible than ever by public transport as a station on the new O-Line between downtown and Blair. But because the O-Train occupies what was the old bus transitway route arriving by bus had become a lot more complicated. Indeed when O-Train finally opens many parallel bus routes will cease to exist altogether. So what about the shopping? It’s got the biggest branch of The Bay (now relaunched as The Hudson’s Bay Company) outside downtown; six or so other clothes’ shops; a communal eating mall upstairs; some chain-ey restaurants around the perimeter; some fantastically comfortable mauve sofas for seating, phone charging and cocktail sipping.

St Laurent is your typical shopping mall, it has an abundant of shops and restaurants. One of the two larger shopping malls in the city of Ottawa St. Laurent has something for everyone. Lots of parking surrounding the mall.

Great food court, but limited shopping choices.
Feb 2018 • Family
My daughter dictated the food court portion of this review: "beautiful surroundings, favourite food outlets". For my part would add, food court is clean and choices are varied.

From the shopping perspective, there are no full service restaurants (other than East Side Mario's) and shopping selection is limited - would have been very useful to have a grocery store/supermarket there. May be when Sears finally clears out the mall would be able to bring something like that in.

Overall, pretty good - part of a Sunday routine with the family.

Your standard shopping mall
Oct 2017 • Solo
It was your standard shopping mall. Easy off and on the main highway, it was clean and the clientele was nice. Lots of decent stores. Plenty of parking.

Foodcourt is very small, but thats alright. Timmies also was on the way. People were pilled at the entrance because timmies is located right by the entrance.

Disorganized
May 2017 • Family
I have been going to various Lone Star restaurants for over 25 years. Usually it is reliable, and now that I do not eat out as much, I prefer to go somewhere reliable. It did not work out this time. The service was friendly and the food was good, but for some reason they ran out of utensils. This was probably a rare occurrence, and when we - eventually - spoke to management we were assured that it would not happen again. I have to give credit to management for taking the issue seriously. But it was a bit of a let down. I was looking forward to the salsa and nacho chips, but it is no longer free upon arrival and has to be ordered and paid for. And is it common that places that serve steak make you ask for the salt and pepper?
