See the sights in Canada’s Capital from the Ottawa River during this narrated tour onboard the Paula D. Look out at Canada’s Parliament Buildings from the river and snap photos of the spectacular city views. Marvel at the mix of natural beauty and modern, urban development while enjoying refreshments or cocktails from the boat’s canteen.

I went with my girlfriend and we enjoyed your visit. We visited the insect, Avian, artic, geology and dinosaurs exhibits. A good learning experience. Everything can't be seen in 2 hours. To get a full experience, I recommend planning at least 2-3 hours minimum. However, the museum's, parking is for those who have money to spend and the ice age exhibit requires a specific ticket in order to get in.

Nestled away at the very end of Metcalfe Street (which meets Wellington) is this hidden gem! And speaking of gems, there's a whole section of them on the third floor! Beautiful architecture and stained glass windows to admire on your way up and down the stairs. Friendly, helpful staff. Well worth a visit if you're going to Ottawa. (With kids or without!)

The Canadian Museum of Nature has enough interesting exhibits to keep you engaged for half-a-day Pros: - Superb Dinosaur exhibits & collection; I believe this museum has the largest # of fossils on display in Canada after Alberta - Other exhibits of note include the living insects section, the whale skeleton, and some of the animal dioramas - Nice outdoor garden with Mammoth sculptures - Really like the Moon and Earth decorations! - Fair pricing - Good adherence to following COVID precautions (timed tickets, social distancing, etc.) Cons: - Absurd parking rates at the museum ($3/half hour); Looking for municipal parking nearby - The exhibits concerning wildlife in Canada (and these comprise most of the museum) could be made more engaging; most of the exhibits looked like they haven't been modified in years - Some of the exhibits were closed All said and done, I would recommend this museum for the dinosaur exhibits alone.

I’ve been to the Museum of Nature in the past and loved it. However, I wanted to go on the recently, but you need to buy your tickets online and select a specific time. This is reasonable given the COVID situation. Unfortunately, I was already downtown and the app to buy tickets didn’t work with my phone, so we couldn’t visit. Plan ahead and get your tickets before you walk out the door.

We had a wonderful time in the Canadian Museum of Nature. The exhibits are organized and displayed so well. There is so much to see. Due to Covid there are some things that are not available, but it didn’t make a difference to us. The only thing is that I wish we had more time to spend here. Also, the adjustments made for Social distancing are very organized and well executed by the kind and knowledgeable staff. It was so much fun to talk to the staff and hear what their favourite parts of the museum are and the little secrets they have about things in the museum. Keep up the good work! We will be back soon!
