It was a nice visit, great tour guide. The building will enter complete renovations for the following 15 years so it is great we had the chance to visit. The library is one of the most spectacular I've seen.
Parliament Hill is truly an extraordinary place. Being in the Heart of Ottawa, this place is an amazing place both for entertainment and education about Canada's Government, On the outside there is beautiful tulips and a "high-tech" fountain with fire burning on the outside, and...More
Great visual art display on the the parliament building. Entertainment for a night on the town whether on a romantic date or out with friends and family. This display gives a brief history of Canada a great lesson to learn from.
Visiting the parliament was a special day for us, you get to see where laws are made. You get the see the library, House of Commons and senators chamber, it’s a magnificent building with lots of history, worth booking and doing the visit.

The lines were reasonably long for tickets but they shortened very quickly. The tickets are distributed on a first come, first served system and you were asked to select from an allotted time. Once you have your ticket and time you are required to go to the meeting area about twenty minutes before. As far as Parliament sitting, there is a schedule listed under House Of Commons Canada.
