Been there yesterday and I'm still speechless. I've seen changing of guard in London more than once or twice but this one is absolutely more impressive. I didn't expect the ceremony to last for so long (more than half an hour) and yet, there was never a dull moment. There was one specific melody the orchestra played who was so... More

Interesting to watch it once, after that it is repetative! Go on a nice sunny day to fully enjoy it. Good views if you go all the way towards the back, you will be higher up and can take everything in. Kids will love it

Went to watch it, but found out that only starts June 24 and ends August 24. So just for your info. Saw it before and pretty patriotic to watch. Would watch again.

Enjoyed it as a first time experience but probably wouldn't go out of my way to watch it again. Lots of bagpipes, mounted police , etc.

Every summer we take our kids to watch the changing of the guards and they love it! They play guards afterwards although they have a hard time keeping their serious. It's worth the experience!

As a former Governor General Foot Guard I can honestly say the changing of the guards does justice for the Regiment and offers vistors an experience they won't forget. A real tribute to Canada and Canadians. Worth the trip to Ottawa, a must see.

A must-do every time we visit Ottawa in the summer. Love this tradition and there's so much to do in the area afterwards.

This free attraction allows visitors to follow the parade to Parliament Hill and watch the changing of the guard. If you do not want to follow parade you can watch the main show at the hill.

great show put on by the guards. It is however quite long if you watch the whole thing but still an important historic piece of our country

Traditional and links Britain and Canada. See if you can make the guards who stand on guard smile. I hear that the guards, can, on occasion, faint in the extreme heat!
