Last week my wife bought us four tickets for our family to go a check out the Canadian Automotive Museum which I had never heard of. It was absolutely fascinating! Great staff and amazing to see these incredible classic cars! It's worth going and the experience will transport you to a time where cars were made with care and quality!... More

This is a diamond in the rough but the cars speak well for themselves. Great cars with great history. Some cars were of a calibre I honestly didn't expect to see in such a modest space. Not all of the information is in place for all of the cars. Nigar provided a very informative tour. You can easily spend a... More

This is a rare chance to see some of the most unique vehicles in automotive history. There are many Canadian vehicles as well as a tremendous sampling of vehicles from around the world. This could be the best value ever to see these rare pieces of automotive art. Easy to get to and adjacent free parking.

I didn't know quite what to expect at this museum, but I ended up hugely impressed. There is a vast array of automobiles assembled here in rather a small venue, but the history of each is amply detailed in accompanying displays. What makes this place particularly interesting is its focus on Canadian car production: I can't tell you how much... More

While this museum does not have the largest or most extensive automobile collection in the world, it does, however, have a wonderful, fascinating collection of rare (and sometimes obscure) historic Canadian and European vehicles. It was a bit difficult to view a few of the vehicles because, in a few areas, they are packed in tightly due to space constraints.... More

Thank you for your review and suggestions. All of the museum's new exhibits moving forward will be translated into both official languages. So far our 1929 Chevrolet and 1914 Rolls-Royce displays are bilingual. More

Wide collection of cars. We were offered a personal guided tour. This made the visit extra worthwhile. The collection of Canadian cars makes this museum special. But there is much more to see.

A wide variety of cars on display that are in excellent condition. I am not really into cars but the mere beauty of the automobiles had me captivated. The tour of the museum was guided and very informative. I would recommend to anyone that is a fan of cars. The price is also very reasonable, makes a great affordable gift... More

Located in downtown Oshawa (Simcoe Street), the history of the automotive industry is wrapped up in the history of Oshawa (and General Motors). It is not a glass and steel building but gives a sense of history even in the building itself. There are many unique cars on display, many unique Oshawa cars, the history of McLaughlin-Buick (go Canada!) and... More

First off, "Thank You" for allowing tourists to take photos!!! I am sure the McLaughlin's would be pleased to know that Canadians are interested in the vehicles they built and are allowed to come away with some memories in the form of photos! You can see their motto, "One Grade, and that the Best," in each and every vehicle. We... More
