I was always skeptical of the Oshawa Zoo when I would drive by. I decided to stop in with my toddler and was really surprised. They provide raisins to feed the lemurs, they are so sweet and gentle. For $3 you can purchase a sand...More

I have been wanting to go to the Oshawa Zoo for years and finally made the trip with my 3 3/4 (according to her) year old grand daughter. Karen and Alan (sister and brother) own this delightful family friendly zoo, and their commitment to the...More

If you have young kids a MUST go to is the Oshawa Zoo. Family run...totally hands on for kids...clean...animals are loved and so well cared for...best way to spend an afternoon in the Summer.

Took my toddlers for a morning visit. The site is great, wide opened meaning the kids can run ahead without losing sight of them. The animals are very friendly (especially when you have the popcorn or raisins). Honestly it’s a well kept secret - ten...More

Wasn't sure what to expect, but this is a nicely laid out and well organized place. It is large, open-air hybrid between a farm and a zoo. Most of the animals are domesticated (sheep, goats, horses, etc.) but there is one camel and one zebra....More

This isn't a large zoo and not many exotic animals...but little children like it. Just the right size for the under 5 crowd. Food was okay. Need more interactive things for the kids to do.

It's a nice little place, that is basically just a huge petting zoo. Mostly farm animals with pretty large enclosures (even if they all hang around the fence for the chance at eating popcorn). There are a couple of exotic animals (lemurs, kangaroos). Little kids...More

Animals belong in the wild, not in enclosed pens, etc.! Would rather see animals in the wild where they belong!
