Provincial Park - we are near by and natural. Located between Oakville and Burlington, Ontario. Great place to test our your camping skills or equipment. 145 electric service sites, filling and dumping station, laundry equipment, playgrounds, yurts, programs (summer), trails and a leash free area. Campers use 3201 Upper Middle Road W. During stay campers have access to day-use area (off Burloak) but my drive 6-11km to separate entrance. Day-use area off Burloak Drive has been a family favorite for decades. 13 km of trails, 11 reservable picnic shelters, children's play barn and farm, 1,8 acre outdoor swimming pool (additional fee), family and group education programs. In the Winter enjoy cross country skiing or snowshoeing. Annual events include: Maple Syrup Festival, Springtime on the farm, Ghostwalks, Camper Halloween and Victorian Christmas. Please refer to official website for details as this information could be stale.

I spent a day at a group campsite during our annual family reunion. My review title reflects some major issues for some people. The hiking trails are a good feature but many campers do not expect to hike all their gear, food, etc. to their...More

Thank you Ron and Dorothy D for your rating and review. The inconvenience of having to carry or cart gear to the group camping sites was in the park plans because the group sites were originally for youth groups only. Such as Scouts, Guides, Cadets...More

We love the quiet and privacy of most sites at the provincial parks for camping. We did get this as we went mid week and picked a GREAT spot to set up camp. Site 226 in Savannah Loop was definitely a perfect pick for us...More

I have a Parks summer parking pass so while we were down in the GTA I decided to check out Bronte Creek. Anticipated a quick visit to see the animals but the play barn (though quite worn-looking inside) was so fun for the kids (3...More

The idea to preserve green space so close to major urban areas is a good one. The park is an escape but it has a man made foot print compared with more remote Provincial Parks. If you want a genuine Canadian park experience go farther...More

This park is located in the heart of Oakville, does not feel like much of a getaway from the city. The entrance to the campground is different than the day use entrance, but they dont tell you this, and they are not close to one...More

We went for Victoria Day. It was a fantastic. Open space. Tea. The farmhouse museum. It was relaxing. Plenty of parking and clean facilities. Pack a lunch and have a picnic.

Thank you for your question. Some of our Trails and Paths are bike friendly - please obey the signs at the trailheads. Respect other park visitors who may be enjoying a quieter, slower pace adventure. Thanks!
