We ate here on September 26 during a visit to the town. It was raining and we ducked into a store and asked for restaurant recommendations that weren't touristy. We were directed to the Olde Angel Inn which is popular with the locals. It is just like an English pub. My reuben sandwich was the best I have ever had.... More

After dining at all the formal expensive restaurants, our favorite was this tavern. It had a lot of charm and the food, especially the "Fisherman's Seafood Pie" was delicious. Great ambience and great prices. I'd go back in a flash when I return to this quaint hidden gem in Canada. - Karen Carr

We stayed at the inn and partied in the pub with great live music, staff and clientèle Friday and Saturday night. It's definitely the hot spot for night life. Jammed on Friday night and very busy Saturday night. Well be going back forsure! Wear your dancing shoes. LOL

I visited the Olde Angel Inn on a busy Saturday night on Labour Day weekend. It was extremely busy but the staff were friendly and happy. I had their famous Fish & Chips along with a couple of pints of Rosarda (raspberry beer from Belgium) DELICIOUS!!! Definitely a MUST VISIT when you come to Niagara On The Lake.

This pub is a really good place to eat. The service is great the food is great and the drink is great too. Portion sizes were excellent and nearly everything made for a great night. So why 3 stars? Well quite simply we went with our 6 year old and were told there was only one thigh on the menu... More

We stayed in the Generals Quarters and we loved the the room it was like taking a step back in history. Our room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Sue the front desk clerk was very pleasant and helpful. We were treated so well we are already planning a return trip.

We have been staying at The Old Angel Inn from time to time for over 20 years. We have always been very satisfied with the service. This time we stayed 2 nights after New Year. The rooms are fairly basic but clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The level of service we encountered was exceptional. Sue was there when... More
