It was my first time on a horse, the guide was attentive and and made sure we were always safe. The whole experience was awesome ans the horses were very gentle, not once was I afraid for my safety. P.s. I'm afraid of heights and it was amazing!

Took my wife for her birthday surprise, and she had a very good time! The instructor was amazing and we took a ride all over the mountains.

My family of four (2 kids, age 10 & 12) and mom & dad went to Niagara Riding Stables today on the 5pm tour. It was amazing, we were by ourselves with the guides, who were knowledgeable and attentive especially to my kids who have never rode before. I wouldn't hesitate to go there again or recommend it to friends & family! The horses are well-behaved and well trained. I used to own horses and enjoyed being able to ride again. I had Mojo, my Husband had Duncan, and my boys had Piper & Storm...........Thank-you for the memorable experience!

I was really nervous at first as it was my very first horse back riding, but the experience turned out to be one of the most memorable ones of my life. The host/owner Dinah was really good at teaching the basic tips of how to work with the horses. She also shared a lot of stories with her horses too. The ride was about 1 hour long, and the trail was really beautiful. I felt like a fairytale. The horses have great temperament and great for beginners. I definitely recommend it and I would love to go back in the future.

What a beautiful ride through the historical Niagara-on-the-Lake country side.
Dinah is so knowledgeable and her horses are so calm and friendly. We had two beginners on the ride who were nervous, the herd quickly built up their self-confidence.
You won’t want to miss seeing this part of NOTL, highly recommend it. So healing to be out in nature and around such beautiful animals. 💕💫

Went on a trail ride with Dinah and my two daughters. It was one of our favourite experiences in Niagara on the Lake. Dinah was amazing. You could feel her connection with her horses and the landscape - her home. The horses were wonderful, and though we were nervous, beginner riders, Dinah helped us feel confident and safe on her beautiful horses. We loved it from beginning to end.

Went there for my 60th birthday. Very gentle horses and great scenery. Our guide was very informative about the horses and the area we were in.

My husband bought me a gift certificate for a trail ride at Niagara Riding Stables because of the other great reviews and it did not disappoint. We went together this afternoon and had a really great ride. I'm an experienced rider but this was only his second time on a horse and he really enjoyed it too. Dinah seems to put a lot of thought into pairing horses with riders based on experience and probably size. You can tell she loves her horses and what she does. I'm hoping we'll have a chance to go back again soon!

My partner and I went on a ride yesterday and had an amazing time. It was my first time ever on a horse and Dinah chose Prince for me. My partner had experience but it had been many years since she last rode. Sophie was chosen for her to ride.

Dinah was so kind and so patient and made sure we were comfortable with what to do and what to expect and explained things to us as we went along.

The trail was absolutely beautiful, with the yellow leaves falling every now and then, and we saw three deer along the way (I had never been so close to a deer). The trail is forested and there is always something new to see.

Prince was so good and pretty much steered himself, but was very responsive to gentle steering. It was such a magical experience and such a relaxing journey, I didn't want it to end.

At the end of the ride I realized I had lost my phone. I very unwisely had put it in my pants pocket before we set out and at some point it slipped out. My partner and I asked Dinah if we could walk back and do a little looking but we didn't try very hard figuring it was well and truly lost. Dinah was genuinely sorry for me and because I lost my phone she took our pictures at the end of the ride and emailed them to me.

Today I received an email from Dinah and by some miracle she found my phone!!

I am so floored by Dinah's kindness and caring, her calming nature and the genuine love you can tell she has for her horses (and for Dexter and Boots, the sweet barn cats).

I highly, highly recommend to everyone to go to Niagara Riding Stables for a trail ride, even if you've never ridden before but always wanted to try it. You will be in excellent hands and have a beautiful experience to remember.

My partner and I are very grateful to Dinah and we miss Prince and Sophie and can't wait to go back!

Even though it was a little rainy and muddy, the horses liked getting out on the trail, and so did we! A solid hour on the trails, so you get your monies worth!
