Went for an hour long ride with Dinah the other day. Our group included three teens who had never ridden and myself an adult who hasn't been on a horse in 23 years! My father in law, an experienced rider also came as did my niece who has ridden before. Dinah and her partner took the time to match us... More

The owner/operator, Dinah McGibbon, is passionate about the horses, your safety, and your enjoyment. It is readily apparent that these horses are well cared for, well loved, and well behaved. While the whole ride was enjoyable, the highlight came near the end of the journey where we were able to pick up our speed to a gentle trot, which delighted... More

When on vacation you usually can't tell one attraction form the other... We wanted to go horseback riding for my daughter's 14th birthday that we celebrated in Niagara-on-the-lake and decided for Niagara Riding Stables. The owner (Gina - I think) was very attentive and you can instantly tell how much she loves her horses, her farm and what she does.... More

My wife and I had such a great time riding Piper and Beebee. The horses were so well behaved, enjoyed our company and took us on a really enjoyable trail ride through vineyards, forest and bushlands. Our guide Dinah was so helpful, fun to talk to and knowledgeable about the property. It's a great value for what you pay, and... More

My wife and I chose this location for part of our wedding anniversary activities. The horses were very well behaved and our guide was great. We enjoyed the ride through the escarpment and the short trot through the field at the end of the ride.

I wanted to have a unique experience this time around while visiting Niagara on the Lake and this was just the thing. I'm so glad I decided to book this. At $45 for a horseback riding experience you must try it. The horses are beautiful. I mean absolutely amazing. We rode Vegas, and Piper. They both have such unique personalities.... More

This was just an awesome trip. On this trip I went with my boyfriend, who has never been on a horse before, and was actually scared of horses/heights before this trip. I've always loved horses and so I dragged him along on this excursion. So when we got there we were greeted with this really nice lady, she had dark... More

My partner and I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon at Niagara Riding Stables for what was our first riding experience. This was perhaps the most memorable things we got to do over the course of a weekend long stay in picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake, and it was located only 20 minutes from the inn we were staying at in town.... This was one of the things my girlfriend and I liked most about our five-day trip to Canada from the US. We visited in the autumn, on a mildly rainy day. Despite the weather, we loved the scenery and the experience (my first time in many years, and my girlfriend's first time) of riding. They are very knowledgeable and know... More

The horses are beautiful and well cared for, the service is personal. The ride has nice elevation changes, but would have liked an area where we could canter a little more. You will end up on top of the Niagara escarpment, but trees block most of the view below. (Many leaves had fallen in late October, which helped). The nearby... More
