Honestly, of all the wine tours we went on I would rate this the poorest of the wine tours. It wasn't because of the winery itself it was of the tour guide. This is a very pretty winery that has the great value added of offering both regular wines and ice wine tasting. I love ice wine and it was great to be able to taste the rare vintage ones. Overall a great experience and a good use of the time if you are in the Niagara penninsula

In addition with the famous ice wine which has to be tasted. Inniskillin is producing several other wines in white, rosé & red. Quality of products is dramatically improved since 10 years and we can now find tasty wines well balanced and several flavors. Nice premises and great wines. We simply went there for their wine tasting. To my surprise the sauvignon and riestling were quite good. First off I don't drink wine. But when in Niagara on the Lake we were told to do at least one wine tour. The minute you drive in you know this is a very professional establishment. Stopped here even after a suggestion not to to do so but figured since they were a bigger place we'd enjoy it. How wrong we were. I learned that Inniskillin has led the way in producing high quality ice wine for 35+ years. At the wine tasting we tried a number of table wines, which were all, well just alright. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable. The tasting was nice. the vineyard is very pretty. We learned a lot in particular about Ice wine. Of course we bought a bottle.

It started slow. We tasted the Merlot and almost choked. The Cab Franc was better, i.e , not bad. Then we tasted the icrf wines. Nice. Then we went for a tour.
