- Roy V1 contributionGreat tour with Allan!Inniskillin Winery was a great surprise for me when we visited the fall on Canada side, we had a day to visit wineries and I was very happy to learn that Inniskillin is close by! The tour with Allan was great and we enjoyed the tastings as well! Keep Allan forever! He’s a great addition to the team! We did take home “A LOT” of bottles of wines! Thanks!Visited September 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten October 4, 2023
- Yoshi A1 contributionAnniversay dayWe went there to celebrate our anniversary. Diana welcomed us at the outside restaurant. She was so kind and explained the menu for us. Then she also recommended us to get the tasting flight from the boutique, Mamiko helped us to chose the wine in Japanese. Wine, especially Icewine was so good. We decided to purchased the sparkling icewine after the experience. Thank you Diana and Mamiko for the warm customer service.Visited September 2023Traveled with familyWritten October 6, 2023

We were on the 11:30 tour and had the whole tour to ourselves. Ask for Claire to be your tour guide because she is AMAZING! She really made our entire experience so special. She answered all of our questions with great enthusiasm and truly loves her job at the vineyard. We loved the wines and the ice wine is to die for! - Genevieve L12 contributionsAmazing experienceDuring our stay in the region, it was a must for us to visit a winery and Inniskillin was our first choice. We had an amazing experience ! We were welcomed with a lot of enthusiasm and a big smile by our guide Hannah, and were delighted to find out that we were getting a private tour ! We were able to ask all of our questions and Hannah made sure we were always comfortable despite the chilly November temperatures. She let us take all the pictures we wanted and even let us taste the grapes ! We learned a lot about the history of the winery and saw how the wine is made. Then we went back inside to a magnificent bar for the wine tasting. This was such a great experience for us ! We had so much fun drinking wine and chatting with Hannah. We had some Christmas shopping to do and wine makes a good present so… we bought a lot. Hannah was so helpful helping us choose, and when we hesitated to buy something we hadn’t tried, she offered that we taste it, so we went back to the bar ! She also had another member of the staff take pictures of all three of us, so we have lovely souvenirs of this wonderful visit and of the greatest guide ever. Thank you Hannah !Visited November 2023Traveled with friendsWritten December 4, 2023

- ConchobarFlorida417 contributionsFantastic Winery VisitHaving been to many wineries across the USA, spending a week in the Niagara area allowed us the opportunity to visit and learn a bit about wine production in the Niagara Peninsula so I did some research and determined a "must do" is Inniskillin given its history and fame related to ice wines. The winery is a very pleasant, short drive from the charming town of Niagara-on-the-Lake and a very nice appearance as you approach. We were greeted promptly upon arriving and directed to the tour area which provided an opportunity to browse the various offerings of Inniskillin. Our tour consisted of just the three of us and Meagan, our tour guide, introduced herself and gave us an overview of the history of Inniskillin and the geologic attributes of the area that make it favorable for grape production. Meagan also showed us production equipment used in the wine making process and took us for a tour of the cellars explaining barrel use by Inniskillin. Upon conclusion of the tour we were treated to a wine tasting of three of the different offerings which while we enjoyed all three, for me, the Vidal Ice Wine stood out. Really smooth sweet wine offering. The experience at Inniskillin was relaxed, informative and friendly as Meagan was happy to answer the questions that we posed. We all enjoyed the tour and tasting very much and can recommend without hesitation this winery experience.... ask for Meagan, she was great!Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 1, 2024

To start off, I'd like to say I normally have a good experience at Inniskillen Winery and have generally experienced good customer service. However, I wanted to bring attention to the terrible customer service received today during a scheduled wine tasting. After waiting in line for almost half hour (even though we had a scheduled tasting at 3:00pm), none of the servers acknowledged our presence as we waited by the hostess table. When we eventually got seated we ordered one flight and one glass of ice wine. We waited, and waited, and noticed that the two groups that were seated after us received their wine and food.
We continued waiting and still nothing came. Tried to get the attention of the server, and unfortunately after waiting 40 minutes with no acknowledgment from the server about our drinks, we got fed up and decided to leave.
First off, with only 6 tables occupied, and four servers, it's unreasonable to have a customer wait 40 minutes for 1 flight of wine and 1 glass of wine, especially when you can see at least two of the servers chatting by the bar and refusing to be attentive to customers.
I hope Inniskillen can take this feedback to help improve the customer experience for future patrons. Hoping our future visits won't be the same as today.

Just got home from spending a week in the Niagara region and visited the winery twice during our stay in Niagara Falls. Both times we went the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable for all the questions asked and very accommodating with letting my wife and I walk around looking at and asking about all the wines.
We purchased a good amount of wine both times we went and took advantage of some great tastings. My wife who is not a wine drinker even found enough to please her and got to take part in the tastings.
We met with Slyvie the first time and Donald the second time. Both were very knowledgeable and friendly. (All staff were just don't know names of others). I enjoyed my time so much I joined the wine club they offer on the spot and got to enjoy some of the perks immediately. Going back a few days later we yet again were given tastings and treated very well and got to again take advantage of the benefits of the wine club.
I live 4 hours away but will be definitely going to visit whenever I can or when in the area and I look forward to receiving wine in the mail whenever it comes.
I highly recommend a visit to this winery for everyone. Even if not wine drinkers. Going to visit the winery that started it all and is very popular in rhe Niagara region is a good idea and taste the popual ice wine.
Unfortunately do to covid there are no tours right now but still lots to do and a great place to visit.

We stopped by on a sunny Saturday afternoon for lunch. The location is lovely, they did great social distancing, and we were served very quickly. While I had one of the best poutines ever at their Market Cafe, I was deeply disappointed in the dessert. They only have one item listed, so you would think it would be top notch. Instead, they forgot the berries, and it tasted like baby food peach purée poured into an overcooked tart shell. A $4.00 poorly spent, and left a bad taste in my mouth - literally and figuratively!

SLL1973, we sincerely regret that the Icewine peach compote/tart was not to your liking! We appreciate your feedback very much and will see that our culinary team is advised. Thank you for your patronage!

We drove out on a great drive to Niagara on the Lake from Niagara Falls. I'd give them a five star review, but this was one of the wineries which sell tastings. We got a military discount on these, but I believe that you best sell your wines with free tastings and let the product sell itself. This is a beautiful facility with very attentive an knowledgable staff, so if you're paying for tastings, I recommend them over several others in the area.

I really enjoyed my visit with Sylvie! Her knowledge of Inniskillin wines was very extensive and interesting! I do have one point to make… 4 Francophones and 2 Anglophones in the group.. and everything was done in English although 2 Francophones didn’t speak the language of Shakespear… reason given by our guide who is a francophone…the two English speaking persons had booked first. As we were the only group touring the premises and there was staff available to accommodate both groups, things could have been better thought out. As a Francophone myself, once again I felt as a second class citizen in my province!
On a more positive note, other than the language issue, Sylvie was excellent at what she does! The wine tasting part of the visit was truly enjoyable! Moreover, she was very considerate for one of the French group needing to sit while on tour. Thanks, Sylvie!

Sylvie was our sommelier for taste the season at Inniskillin. She was an absolute delight. After the wine pairing, she gave our family a little history on the winery and laughed at my father’s horrible jokes. The wine and food were delicious as well but Sylvie made the experience memorable. Thank you Sylvie!

It took about an hour to bike north on the Niagara Parkway from the train station. I was seated on the outdoor canopied eating area almost immediately. The menu only offered an assortment of sandwiches and charcouterie plates. I was a little disappointed with the brisket I ordered. The meat was too chewy and the side order of fries was mainly comprised of stubby burnt bits.
Leaving my table unrestored, I ventured to the wine stalls. Simie was at the tasting area. It was the early days of the vaccine passport and I didn't have have my documents handy. However, she allowed me to bring my glass of Viognier to sample outside. She was very knowledge about the grapes and clarified that Botrytis Affected wasn't the same as Sauternes, since it only was in the upper area of the vines and not part of the soil. In Sauternes, it was all around the Terroir. Simie also informed me of why my favourite Marechal Foch label was discontinued several yearts ago. I petitioned that they should consider returning it for a limited run. Learning that I was biking back, Simie carefully placed my two Viognier bottles in bubble wrap. The animated conversation and her attentiveness improved my overall rating by two notches!

Dropped by the Inniskilin winery without reservation at noon and got a great table (outside of course because of Covid). Sylvie was our server and she was great. We did not want a tasting, so she recommended a bottle of Rose. Great price for a full bottle...
We had sandwich which were good but nothing special. As we were sipping our wine, a girl on violin and a guy on a guitar started playing.... they were good so we stayed and ordered a charcuterie board which was really good. Enjoyed a two hour lunch here. 😋

Nice winery with good options. Dog friendly. For 4 two ounce pours the cost is a bit high, but nonetheless still very good wines. Person who helped us had a pretty good knowledge of wine. Worth a stop.

Ryan took care of our wine tasting when my mom, her friend, and my sister and I went on Thursday afternoon! He was wonderful, super efficient, knowledgeable and attentive!! The flights come in preselected selections (whites/reds or ice wine). We didn’t eat there (only got oysters) but their food menu looked incredible (especially the ice wine sangria or ice wine mojito)! Julia greeted us and sat us and she was SO lovely!! She even offered to take our picture as we were leaving which was so kind.
I went into the store to purchase some wine, I didn’t catch the name of the lady who helped me inside, it started with a Y and she was working Thursday afternoon around 4pm but she was extremely knowledgeable and SO helpful/kind. I purchased a wine she suggested and I loved it.
Gorgeous outdoor setting -thank you Ryan, Julia and the lady inside for making a memorable experience.

Hello. How do you book a tasting online? I checked out their website but cannot find a page for bookings. I want to try their ice wine....

Hello,
There is not need for two people to book just walk in between 10-6 pm daily and you can choose from a range of different tasting and decide which one is more suitable for you.

Thank you for your interest in Inniskillin Niagara Estate! We are located just off the Niagara Parkway in Niagara-on-the-Lake, so quite central to the 'Old Town'. NOTL is an international tourist destination, and boasts hotels and B&B's by the dozens, the majority of which are located within a 5 minute drive to Inniskillin. We love the Harbour House Hotel!
We look forward to seeing you soon!
