About
All of our wines are hand-crafted in small batches to ensure that the end product is the highest possible quality. They are all certified by the Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA), the symbol of quality for some of the finest wines produced in Ontario, and all of the fruit is 100% Niagara grown. Our unique property has two very distinct soil types that we call our Red Paw Vineyard and Black Paw Vineyard. In many cases we have the same grape varieties planted on both soil types and we can taste the difference the soil makes in the taste of the wine. The Red Paw Vineyard produces wines that are fruity and aromatic while the Black Paw Vineyard produces wines that are more earthy and structured. Taste these wines side by side and decide for yourself!

We enjoyed wine from Coyote's Run at the Treadwell restaurant so thought we should check out the winery. For a small winery they do have some nice wines for tasting and purchasing. It was a little tricky getting here but once we figured out where we were going it was worth the drive. Staff were friendly and welcoming. They have a deck where you can enjoy the vineyard and do some wine tasting.

Finally something a bit different! Coyotes run has a few types of wine that are the same grape (pinot noir & cab sauv) that are processed the same and taste surpisingly different! A must visit! Nice small vineyard and winery atmosphere.

Have been several times and is one of our favorite wineries in the area. The two different soil types with same grape = such a different end product. Really neat place to visit to understand how soil changes what you taste in your glass!

We used to love Coyotes Run reds, but we arrived to find a cardboard tied against an weed-overgrown sign saying "Closed - No Trespassing". Very disappointed.

Here is the deal. We became acquainted with Coyote’s Run in 2017 with Niagara Grape and Wine Tours. When we arrived, Coyote was busy—yet they graciously accomodated our group. The guide (I cannot remember her name) gave THE BEST overview and talk that I have yet to experience.

Of the 4 wineries we visited that day, we bought (and cellared) the most wine out of the other 3 wineries.

Enter this year: our same amazing hostess was there again, along with another amazing gentleman host (never got his name). Once again, they were so accommodating, and unlike other wineries we visited, they provided us their BEST wine to taste.

And yet again, we purchased a fair amount (which is indicative of their quality).

So by all means, visit Coyote’s Run! Highly recommended, 100% worth the visit.

They are OPEN, and ROCKING!!!!!

We finished our Icewine tour package at this winery,(it was actually a strong suggestion from a rival winery) the pairing of the Icewine was very good and assembled in front of you ,fresh ,to order. The Icewine was my favourite out of the 8 we sampled, slightly lower in price, knowledgable and very freindly staff. It's not in the clusters of wineries in NOTL but a very beautiful winery, and there are other very good wineries close by to make it a worthwhile trip , not that you really need that. They are happy to see children as well as pets.

We love NOTL, and try to visit a winery new to us each time. But this is one we come back to every time, always leaving with a "few" bottles. Friendly, gracious and knowledgeable staff. Great value for liovely wines.

They paired their 2015 Aria with a goulash. Both were good as the wine was heavier and worked well with the goulash.

We have been here before, and the staff are so gracious. The wines are darned fine, too. We stopped here as part of the Niagara Icewine Festival today, but tasted some other wines as well. It was perfect!

For only wanting to stop in to pick up a bottle of their highly recommended Pinot Noir, we ended staying for almost an hour having a wonderful conversation with the friendly and entertaining gents that were hosting for the day! Thanks to Mike for making us feel special in what felt like a private experience on a beautiful Monday afternoon! Can’t wait to enjoy the Pinot Noir I brought home with me!
