This was a nice way to spend a cool, rainy morning in Niagara-on-the-Lake. We were told to meet at an address on King Street, which turned out to be a Coffee Shop, Balzacs Roasters. Once there, we found it was our first stop and our guide, Susan brought out cups of coffee and some biscotti. Then we toured and learned... More

A fabulous day to celebrate my 65th with a dear friend. It was a very cold day, but we were well bundled and in and out of the cold to visit each place. The food samples were scrumptious. I don't even like mac/cheese, but what we had at The Charles Hob was fantastic! I thought it would be too cold... More

Went with a friend on the Taste of the Town Tour, led by Susan last Saturday. Had a great time. It was a very cold day but she kept us entertained with her stories and the distances between stops weren't far. It made us appreciate the warmth and the food at each stop even more. We were fortunate to have... More

As a birthday celebration for our daughter, we booked the Winter Walking Food Tour through a Groupon purchase. It was sunny, but cold. Bill was a delightful tour guide. Our day started with delicious coffee and biscotti from Balzac's Roasters. From there, we walked and learned about local history and architecture and then warmed up with a hot cream of... More

The winter version of the Taste the Town Tours was just as expected - not too long, not too short, not too filling, just a taste of the history of the settlers and architecture that makes Niagara on the Lake a place to visit year round. The four tasting stops were good as described by others, all a little bit... More

I purchased this as a birthday present for my best friend. Of course I got to go too. We enjoyed every part of the tour. Our guide, Susan, was so cheery and shared so much information about the history of NOTL. It was a very cold day, but the Balzacs coffee at the start warmed us up. The soup at... More

In spite of the freezing cold and windy morning our tour guide Susan was able to keep our attention with her knowledge of Niagara on the Lake history and the changing architecture. The group of ten on our tour were all locals from the Niagara region and commenced the 90 minute tour after coffee and biscotti at Balzac’s. Susan led... More

On our tour we visited 4 different restaurants, starting in a local coffee shop. The coffee and biscotti was a great start to the morning. There were 6 of us on the tour and Susan was our friendly well informed tour guide. On our way to the restaurants she took us on a tour of the neighborhood and told us... More

We were given the tour as a gift to experience with future family and found it an excellent experience. Our tour guide Bill provided many interesting facts about the town and its architecture along the way. Each of the tastings we attended to was delightful with great food and a little story about the establishment. I would highly recommended the... More

To put into words what this tour meant to me is going to be tough. Let me just say that the detailed history, the famous landmarks, the human stories, the fantastic food discoveries with the welcoming table setting awaiting us (worth a trip back just for the truffle macaroni and cheese) the icecream treat at the end of the tour,...
