We were at Strewn for wine tastings and liked one of the wines and wanted to purchase. Unfortunately, after we had selected our wine in the store a tour group was also in the store and there was not sufficient staff on to serve everyone....More

This was the only winery that greeted us on a busy Saturday. Before arriving here, we went to four others and left because it was packed. We gave up and decided to go for ice cream and found this along the way lol. We tried...More

I first discovered Strewn as a small winery with small-batch vintages and rieslings done just how I loved them (2 decades ago), now they've changed their wine-making style. I was so devoted that I was the one who asked TA to list this winery and...More

This is the place for connoisseurs of wine and food. It is a medium size operation not large as the mass market players but large enough to guarantee a professional experience. The sommelier who took us through the tasting was very good. The food was...More

We came late in the afternoon so there were no tours available. We tried the wine tasting. There was a "moth ball" odor in the tasting room that detracted from the wine taste. We were told that it was there to eliminate fruit flies. The...More

Good little winery that's not too crowded like some of the bigger wineries on NOTL. The building is pretty. We went for the free tour and tasting that they have at 11:30 am with Jane. Worth a visit just for that! The tour was interesting...More

We did not eat at the winery and didn't attend the culinary school, so this review is limited to the wine tasting tour. It was not very informative. It wasn't really enjoyable either. The olive oil tasting area was actually better organised, but olive oil...More

This was not my favourite wine tasting location. The wines were very dry and not my taste, but the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend going to this winery for the OLIV restaurant that is on the same property.

This was our third tasting of the trip and one of our favourites! Kathryn led our tasting and did a great job. The Viognier ended up being our favourite wine of the whole trip! Definitely worth stopping in if you are in the area.

Strewn was our first stop on mine and my husbands self guided winery tour this past Sunday. We arrived right at 11:30 and jumped on the free afternoon tour. We were given a quick history and info on the wine making process. Once back inside...More

Like many of the roads in this area, all of the routes from the "old town" to the winery are paved two lanes (one each direction) with very little shoulder.
