This was not my favourite wine tasting location. The wines were very dry and not my taste, but the staff were very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend going to this winery for the OLIV restaurant that is on the same property.

Strewn was our first stop on mine and my husbands self guided winery tour this past Sunday. We arrived right at 11:30 and jumped on the free afternoon tour. We were given a quick history and info on the wine making process. Once back inside our group was taken to a private room to taste 2 wines, a late harvest... More

New winemaker from New Zealand. Only a brief encounter with him but I sensed a real connection between him and his profession. Always one of my favourite wineries but, wow, this stuff is good. Viognier excellent---I never would have thought I'd enjoy this varietal to this extent. Often when I start drinking the wines I bring back from our annual... More

Pulling into the parking lot feels more like arriving at a country home or small hotel. The gardens are full of colour from blooming roses, daisies and other plantings. Inside, there is a room on the right which is a cooking kitchen which has a schedule of classes. Straight ahead is a store with olive oil products and small restaurant... More

I can not say enough about the cooking school we attended. We cooked and ate for 5 hours. It was absolutely delicious and we learned a lot. Definitely will do this again in the future.

We have been to Strewn a couple of times ... for their chardonnay. While there LCBO chardonnay is very good, the vintage chardonnays etc have much more character. The winery offers many more wine choices. It has tastings, tours and more.

Popped into this winery but missed the tour as only once a day at 11.30. So we choose a selection of wines to taste and came across the best Cabernet Franc.

We've been to almost all of the wineries on this tour, and Strewn has the best pairing! 3 pairings with a 2014 Sauvignon Blanc

Great place to try great wines. They are on the pricey side. Expect high teens and above prices. Personel are friendly but not engaging. You need to seek them out. You can get more than wine here.with the adjacent cooking school and restaurant there is olive oil and balsamic vinegar worth tasting and buying.
