Colaneri is a new family-owned and operated winery that hand-harvests the finest grapes to produce premium VQA award-winning wines from its surrounding vineyards. Most of the wines are made with the traditional Italian appassimento style of drying grapes, including a large portfolio of red, white and dessert wines. A new series has been introduced, made in the “recioto” style of making dessert wines. The winery is built in the Romanesque style featuring a captivating panoramic view of the vineyard and escarpment atop the St. David’s Bench appellation. The wine tasting bar overlooks the production area, allowing visitors to see the process. We, La famiglia Colaneri, are always on hand to share the experience and the passion that went into the making of our wines and our winery.

We have visited the winery on several occasions but were quite disappointed this time. The pizza had very little cheese and lacked flavour. The wine is amazing but my riesling wasn't very cold on this visit.

I decided to check out Colaneri on my day off and was first impressed by the incredible front entrance, it was very beautiful. Inside I was served by Debbie who was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. All the wines I tired were great especially the Recite Chardonnay. Will be recommending this place to friends and co-workers.

Colaneri has been a must stop for us for 5 years now. Their Insieme is simply wonderful. The staff is gracious and helpful. Their discount card helps win he next purchase :-) The building is a work in progress as they invest in their vines.

To start off, the building itself is incredible. It looks like you're stepping into Italy. We did the $10 wine tasting (5 wines) and it was excellent. The lady who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The wine was very good, and it was overall a great experience.

It's unbelievable but every wine that we tried, red or white, was fantastic. Great service! Also I love the "gift card" of 10% that you receive back if you spend $100.00 (which is very easy); I don't think the other wineries offer the same. This is definitely my favourite winery (and they home delivery - you can place an order... More

The winery is worth a visit just to view the building. It has been constructed to look like a Tuscan village, looks great. There is a fee of $10 for five tastes, a little excessive. The wines were all very good, especially the Pinot Noir. Definitely worth a visit.

The building here is not quite done yet but what there is ....spectacular. I loved this place! The building is great to look at. The tasting room is so elegant overlooking the inside of the winery. It just felt good to taste wine here. They picked up on Napa Valley with the breadsticks so you can really taste each wine... More

Wow, it truly feels like you have entered an Italian winery once you go down the driveway. Such a beautiful winery! When we entered the winery, it was packed (typical Saturday afternoon). We went off to the side tasting area, waited for a few minutes and thankfully got a spot by the bar. The tastings are $10 for 5 wines... More

I went here with a group and the guests and staff were very pretentious and rude. I would not ever go back again.

This was our third visit to this stunning Tuscan villa but probably our last. Our taster was indifferent and not very helpful. The wines in the past were very good but this time very disappointing. A five year old Sauvignon Blanc was over the edge and even the red wines were flat and lacked character. The outdoor patio was closing... More
