Good morning! Group of 4 ladies coming to celebrate our 50th birthdays, we can’t wait! Day 1 we get in late afternoon. Plan to go to condo (close to graffiti alley). We want to eat poutine, so planned to walk to poutinis house of poutine! Then drinks at barchef...we saw this in a travel mag, and drinks looked amazing. Day 2 chopsticks and forks food tour of Kensington market. Concert at Budweiser stage tonight. Question: are there shops to buy groceries and booze in Kensington market...More

Hi KK; Many condominium corporations have a clause disallowing short term rentals. If the owner asked you to use the side door, not to speak with the concierge, etc, then this rental is most likely disallowed. You may find yourself locked-out by the condo board, with all you belongs caught-up inside the condo. Best Regards

3 day family trip to Niagara Falls (1 Replies)
We will be in Niagara Falls, Canada for 3 full days next week with kids ages 17, 10 and 7 years old. We are staying at a hotel on the Canadian side. We are planning to do Hornblower Cruise, Journey behind the falls, Niagara Fury, White water walk, dinner/fireworks in Skylon tower. Maybe we will also visit Niagara on the Lake, walk around, see a show, do dinner at Peller Estates winery restaurant. We also want to experience Cave of the Winds, NY. 1. Do we just walk over the Rainbow bridge,...More

1. Much easier to walk across, and a nice experience also. Be sure to have your passports and birth certificates. You'll also need 50¢ cash per person for bridge toll. 2. No need to. 3. The only alternative to hotels for overnight parking is at either casino. See this Traveler Article for more information: https:/…Parking.html 4. The Adventure Pass is a good deal if you already planned on doing the included attractions. The WEGO bus is very handy for getting around. You will need it for...More

Best wine tour for a Sunday (May 29th) (11 Replies)
Hi. My husband and I will be going to Niagara for our anniversary over Memorial Day Weekend, and we would like to visit some vineyards. We are not much or "organized tour" people, but would consider one if you know a really good one. Hillebrand and Peller Estates both offer a similar "tour pass," which includes a meal. Do you recommend this? If so, which should we get the meal with? Peller: Wine Country in a Day "This one day experience is the ultimate wine country getaway. Receive...More

Hi snsmith27; It doesn't sound like your plans include any time in Toronto, so I would suggest staying the night in NotL or Niagara Falls. Toronto is approx. 80 miles / 130 km from NotL. The average drive is about 1½ hours, without any traffic delays. Best Regards
