Andrew Peller was one of the founding fathers of Ontario wine; today his namesake winery remains a family-owned enterprise - focused around the grand winery, showpiece barrel cellar and gracious Peller Estates Winery Restaurant (helmed by Chef Jason Parsons). Food and wine pairing themes are mainstays in the chock-full seminar and event calendar. Peller Estates' full range of Private Reserve whites, reds and sweet wines by Winemaker Katie Dickieson are always rich and approachable, while the Signature Series features age-worthy reds, award-winning Icewines and the unique Ice Cuvée sparklers, sweetened with a touch of Icewine.

Having been on lots of wine tours at other wineries we only stopped in to sample some wines as we had a coupon from our hotel. Needless to say on a hot June day the tasting room was packed with people crowded around the bar so we just sampled three different white wines covered by our coupon and left. The... More

After visiting some wonderful vineyards earlier in the day, Peller didn't suit our fancy. While beautiful, it felt stuffy, as did the staff member offering the tasting. The wines were nice but didnt knock my socks off. It was good, just not great.

This is a beautiful property and offers a good tour with tastings. They give you a bit of the family's history before going out to the vineyards for tastings. Our favorite part was putting on parkas and going into the 10-below cooler to taste ice wine. So fun!

We arrived at the Peller Estate for the Theory of Cheese Tour. What a great tour. Ray and Adam presented a wonderfully visual and interactive seminar on the art of improving various wines with cheese preparations! This is a must see tour. After this tour we did the "10 Below Ice Wine Tour with Ally. She demonstrated her excellent knowledge... More

Visited Peller Estates on Saturday Aug 20th with my two girlfriends. We did the Ice wine tour in the ice cellar (10 Below) and the Wine & Cheese tour. Both were amazing and made our day very special. You have to pre-book the tours or you might not get in. We did the 3 glass wine tasting & the signature... More

We are regular visitors to the Winery Restaurant as well as Wine Club Members - and we are never disappointed!!! We had lunch to celebrate my mother's 81st birthday, and everyone made us feel like celebrities!. Our server, Lu-anne was attentive, knowledgeable and guided us through the outstanding menu according to our tastes. Her wine pairing suggestions were spot on!... More

A very beautiful winery and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We took the Wine and Cheese Pairing Tour and it was so interesting. Our guide was very knowledgeable and interesting to listen too. The winery is beautiful and well maintained.

Visited here on a day trip to Niagara on the Lake. Myself and a friend wanted to do some wine tasting. We both opted to do the 3 glasses each. We were given a TINY amount of wine in each glass. It was enough to taste it but you only got about 2 sips of each type. We explained we... More

This was our second time having dinner at Peller and Ryan has been our waiter on both occasions he is absolutely the best you could ask for. Dinner was perfect and we had Ryan pick our wines with everything which could have been tastier lol. We'll be back much sooner the a year that's for sure.

Many wineries come across as snobbish and prentious, but this is a friendly facility. We've had vouchers from the Shaw Festival before and never used them, but this year we thought we'd try them out - nothing to lose. Pretty grounds are very easy to find from the Parkway (turn left just before you enter NOTL). Plenty of parking. Friendly... More
