    Lexi was great
My friend and I made a trip to Jackson Triggs to try some of their sparkling, and the service was phenomenal. Lexi went above and beyond explaining the various wines we tried, and made sure our trip was memorable. I definitely recommend checking them out, especially the sparkling Moscato!

    Great Canadian Winery Tour!!
Our visit to the Jackson-Triggs Winery was a perfect 10 from start to finish. Our tour person Paul was knowledgeable of everything related to the wine making process and types of wine. He was very polite and answered any questions that were asked during the tour.; The winery restaurant was a success as well with wonderful "hi quality food" that was done with a great presentation. The days of free winery tours have ended but the cost was well worth the expense. This is a must do if in the area!!!

    Wonderful and delicious vineyard visit!
We had a wonderful visit to Jackson-Triggs Niagara estate this past Friday Nov 10. The building and vineyards are beautiful, the food and wine were delicious and everyone we interacted with were lovely - from Pierre's warm welcome to Maggie's great suggestions for lunch (local cheese and charcuterie board, confit duck salad, short rib tacos) and our wine tasting to our conversations with Glenna and others on the team in the Gift shop where we bought bottles of ice wine for ourselves and for gifts for family members. Thank you for a lovely visit.

    Lovely Afternoon
My partner and I had such a great time touring the facility! Our tour guide, Yvonne, was so knowledgeable and had great behind the scenes facts. Loved tasting wines as we learned about how they were made. We also spent some time in the beautiful lounge looking out over the vineyards. Even in March it was a beautiful view. Would definitely recommend a tour and/or tasting in the lounge!

    Jackson-Triggs Winery is always Awesome
Being wine club members from the U.S., we don't get up there as often as we would like, but every time we go, we are welcomed and promptly taken care of. The wine here is amazing. One of our all time favorites is the Sparkling Merlot. It sells out quickly, so get it while you can. The food there is also very good. While there are not a lot of menu items to choose from, everything is really good! Everyone there is really nice and very helpful. Can't wait to go back!

Wonderful wine, great food, fantastic host!
Bruce was a great host for our Sparkling Experience! We had a wonderful time learning about the winemaking process, starting off with a private tour of the winery. Then we were taken to a secluded area in the middle of the vineyard, making for a very pleasant experience where you could really focus on the food and wine (and on your company!). Each food and wine pairing we had at the outdoor patio in the vineyard was fantastic – it was honestly much more than a simple pairing; we were fed a series of 5 delicious small plates. Beyond the exceptional flavors, the volume of food was enormous, much more than I’ve ever had at a “tasting”, and we both left with full stomachs! Bruce was very knowledgeable about the wines in a very kind and approachable way, always answering questions with sincerity, enthusiasm, and humbleness. This experience was so much greater than we could have imagined – between the people, the facilities, the food, and the wine itself, I couldn’t have planned a better excursion. We would 100% recommend the Sparkling Experience to anyone who enjoys a meal and likes to strike up genuine conversations with their host about wine and the winemaking process.

My husband and I have been Jackson Trigg Wine Club members for some time now and have visited Jackson Triggs for Wine tasting several times before and during covid. On this Day however was a line up outside. Was seated by an older woman with grey blond hair who was the host seating people at the door. We were seated inside the winery. As soon as we were seated at the table I was told I have to wear a mask inside. I informed the woman that I was mask exempt. At that point she said I would need to provide proof of my medical exemption. My husband informed her it goes against the Niagara bylaw to ask for proof of medical mask exemption and informed her that she should not be asking for proof of medical exemption. I had to pull up the bylaw on my phone to show her as surprisingly after a year and half of Covid she appeared unaware. . We also informed her we were double vaccinated. I informed her 80% of the population of Canadá have had one vaccine and 60% Then she conceded. I felt harassed and discriminated against for having a medical condition. The discriminatory treatment by this employee ruined my experience and made us want to cancel our wine club membership. Don’t go to this place especially if you are medically mask exempt.

My friends and I had an amazing time visiting Jackson-Triggs Winery.
Our guide and host (Jodel) went absolutely ABOVE AND BEYOND for us! He was incredibly friendly and outgoing. He made us all feel comfortable and provided us top notch service with our food and samplings. He had a constant smile on his face and was very knowledgeable with answering any questions we had, as it was our first time visiting. If you are visiting the winery, I highly recommend you ask for Jodel to booked as the host for your visit!!
The venue is beautiful and the live music in the summer made for a relaxing atmosphere. We will be back!

I would give it a 2.5
The place is very nice, beautiful outdoor patio, but it was cold and we weren't offered an option to go indoors.
Staff were not overly friendly.
Wine tasting was the most expensive on our entire tour. Also, the least appealing.
The store required "permission" to enter, which is totally bizarre.
Prices in the store were outrageous. There are far better wines out there for far less money.
Its the only winery we visited, that we left without buying anything.

We attended Jackson Triggs as part of an anniversary celebration wine tasting tour. We had been there years before but this was different. Renovated fireplace welcoming zone, bright windowed eating area, very polished tasting staff and he (Angelo) was even able to demonstrate that yes Niagara CAN do fabulous Sauv Blancs if its done right! We loved the Meritage selection as well. We can highly recommend this very polished and professional winery for a wonderful wine tasting experience.

This was our first time here and it was a great experience. From the moment we walked in we felt so welcome. Angelo was amazing explaining the wines, answering questions and making the whole experience really interactive while also giving us time to chat amongst ourselves. The food was delicious and we truly appreciate the wonderful job they're doing here. We're excited to try more from Jackson Triggs in the future and look forward to coming back!

This winery has not been able to adapt to reopening for the season. The majority of menu items were not available, the descriptions did not match the plate served, and the server did not know what the food items were. The portion of wine for tasting was extremely small. Be wary of the sign on the front door, that all are welcome. The “manager in charge” did not communicate appropriately, and basically followed us to the exit, demanding payment, for wine tasting that had been included, but incorrectly assessed. In summary, not welcoming, poor food and service. Not impressed. I would definitely recommend any other winery in the NOTL district.

We visited Jackson-Triggs Winery on August 27, 2022 with my daughter-in-law's parents visiting from Brazil. They don't speak English but wanted to know a bit about the winery and wine tasting recommendations based on their likes, so when we arrived we asked if there was anyone on staff who spoke Portuguese. It turns out there was! Paula was able to chat with them for about 15 minutes, which we all greatly appreciated. We had two wine tasting flights. The first one had 4 wines that we selected from a list of many options. The second one had 2 wines and one ice wine. We liked all of the wines but the two stand outs were the Reserve Riesling and the Sparking Merlot. We bought bottles of both to take home. We also ordered a charcuterie board to cleanse our palates between tastings. There were five of us and the charcuterie board is really designed for two people. It worked out to be just right for us because we had eaten a big lunch earlier, but I would recommend if you have a party larger than two people and want it as a bigger snack to order two. The patio was very pleasant and the experience was 100% enjoyable. We did not take the public tour this time but have done so in the past and felt it was worth the money.

Stopped in yesterday for a tasting.. Nice COVID-safe setup, with picnic tables under umbrellas next to the rows of grape vines. They had a good duo playing music to keep us entertained while waiting.

Our server Eric was able to answer all our questions about the reds & whites we were tasting, and even gave us a few suggestions for other wineries to visit in the area. Lots of fun to talk to!

Each tasting of four wines cost $20, but each earned $10 off a $50 wine order. We ended up buying 6 bottles -- 4 whites and 2 reds. All in all, a very enjoyable experience!

This is the best winery in the region. The view was spectacular, the staff was the best Ive ever encountered but the tasting that we did… oh my god… it was sooo delicious and the wines, sparkling and ice wine we had were reserve and the quality of their product was fantastic! So much we purchased a couple of bottles when we left. Special their Vidal ice wine with peach and honey notes… but my Koodos goes to Cheryl. She was soo detailed with the wine, the history of the company and how the wine was produced. I left JT with knowledge of wine making that now I see this kind of business in a different light. 5 stars to this company! They denefitly deserve it!

We stopped in about 2 weeks ago for a wine and culinary experience. Jackson-Triggs is our favorite local winery and we have always enjoyed the friendly relaxed atmosphere and lovely wines. This day we made a reservation to also enjoy some of the wonderful culinary offerings along with our tasting. The food and wine was excellent but I have to take a moment to give a huge shout out to Angelo who was our server and educator. Angleo absoltulely made our day fun and took an already great experience to an even better level. He has a great vibe, made us feel welcome and had us laughing and thoroughly enjoying our time.

We enjoyed our experience so much we signed up fo the Wine Club and look forwrd to the member perks and returning for all the wonderful events.

Thank you Angelo for a fun afternoon. We hope to see you again soon!
